- DOMCO PLUMBING INCI have never felt compelled to write a review until now. Sewage ejection tank had overflowed into the backyard. Sump pump circuit breaker tripped. Domco sent Gil to clean tank so we could determine the condition of the sump pump. He arrived within 30min and after listening to my description of the problem got right to work. He took a little longer to clean the tank since he also removed several roots in the tank from a nearby tree and a large bush saving some samples in case the pump plumber needed them. He even cleaned up some dog waste around the area. Gil then called in a description of the pump which was still not working. Domco sent for pump tech Duane to evaluate the pump and to give an estimate - he arrived within 45 min of the call. Duane was briefed by Gil examined the pump and determined the 10yr old pump just finally failed. He quickly got an estimate and after my approval both Duane and Gil went right to work to replace the sump pump. Duane dived into the tank during the install completely cleaning it free of remaining roots inaccessible during the cleanout. He also did additional cleaning of the conduit to the electrical circuits which had gotten wet due to the previous float being improperly set and allowing seepage into the circuit boxes from underground. He did his final tests and from my first call to final paperwork it was less than 4hrs! While very few plumbing jobs are inexpensive, I really felt I got good value today between the prompt, courteous and PROFESSIONAL service and the Angie's coupon. I don't know if Gil and Duane are typical of the technicians at Domco, but I would definitely hire these guys again
- DOMCO PLUMBING INCA friendly guy came out to map the leach lines late on a Friday as scheduled... He spent time looking things over and ensuring I understood the septic system. Domco requested to reschedule the pumping of the septic. And then I requested a reschedule. Their office staff was friendly and understanding. A guy came out as scheduled and pumped out our entire system. Once again they took the time to be sure I understood how the system worked, which was appreciated as I had only recently moved into the house and had never before lived with a septic system. I would definitely refer them and use them again

We had some laborers jackhammer that area and they found the leak. I highly recommend them. They replaced our septic tank and cleaned in the past.

- DOMCO PLUMBING INCThey arrived on time Tuesday afternoon and Eric started digging to find the septic tank - using their camera and a county permit plan that I had available. Eric and Gil found the septic tank and pumped it out. They worked late to get it done - had to come back the following morning to "typhoon" out the lines to the leach fields. When they returned, they used their camera to find what they thought was the Distribution Box - but which, in reality was a crushed pipe from the Septic Tank to the Distribution Box - it had been crushed by rocks and roots (never plant oleander near a septic tank!). They dug out the pipe, replaced it with a new one, found that the (very old) cover of the Distribution Box was rotted out redwood, so they got a new Distribution Box, replaced the old one, then flushed out to the leach field (which was thankfully fine). Dom (the owner) communicated with me frequently and clearly. The guys were polite, timely, and clean (considering what they were doing!). Not sure if price competitive, but work was of high quality... I would definitely recommend

"Great. I needed to have the fitting on the gas line that comes out of the wall updated to be used with a new range and oven. It's an older home and the existing gas line fitting would not work with the new range. The work was completed quickly and correctly -- and that was terrific. And yet, that wasn't the whole value play for me. This range was being installed on December 23 and that's when the problem was found. Facing a Christmas with no range and oven was a real possibility and yet, not surprisingly, it was very difficult to find someone who could address this quickly. The fix was known to be easy yet availability was the problem. And, in fact, I had struck out after calling a half dozen firms on Angie's list trying to find someone who could do this. When I called Armstrong it was the same story: It would be several days before they could get someone out to address the issue.
