"The job went very well. Nato, the owner, proved very responsive. He came for an estimate the day of the call and answered all my questions addressed my concerns. A quote was made on the spot. The work was performed on schedule and per the quote. There were no hidden costs or unexpected issues. He was flexible and accommodated some additions to the work and helped us find solutions to our drainage issues. The workers were professional and friendly. The crew seemed quite organized. There was one minor issue with the sprinkler system that showed up a day after the job was done (a wire had gotten loose) and Nato came out and fixed the problem within a couple hours of being called. Before we started the conversion of our 2 car garage, we researched and shopped around for few months until we went ahead with LAR construction & remodeling. Because we are a picky people, we went physically to see several remodeling jobs that they did recently. We were impressed but also worried at the same time. Based on what we saw, we felt that our estimate will not fit our budget and that we will not be able to afford it. The sales rep delivered us the quote and spent 5 hours with us. He didn’t push us to sign the contract and more than that, he didn’t try to persuade us. We took all the information he gave us and few days after, we called him and agreed to talk over the weekend.
