"Owner is a great guy was willing to drop off the trailer last minute and was only 100 dollars more than the trash company wanted for a regular little dumpster. 10/10 would recommend. I know I'll be calling him again soon."

"Luis had already arranged placement of the two lazy boy rocker/recliners and the XL Purple mattress with local church organizations. Very little will go to the dump. He had all the right equipment to move everything out of our single story house."

"I am so impressed by their work today. They were professional, efficient, and so helpful! I appreciate his thoughtful consideration of all of our items. He also went above and beyond to make sure the area was cleaner than when he got there! I would thoroughly recommend this on-time junk removal over 1-800-junk!"

"We had an old metal lawn shed with some sawhorses and trash cans in it. We had a swing set with slide and a little house at the top of the slide. We had some miscellaneous lawn chairs and a large plastic sandbox. These are in our backyard where you have to carry it along the side of the house and across the front of the house to the driveway to their truck. I thought they would be more expensive but they matched our lowest bid otherwise. The 2 men had it all done in 2 HOURS!! Amazing! They took it all away cheerfully. GREAT JOB! I would hire them again if I needed items taken away."

Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

Continuous feed garbage disposals are the favorite model for many homeowners for a reason. As opposed to batch feed models, add food scraps to the drain whenever the disposal is running. This variety is also typically less expensive, more convenient, and easier to clean.

You may be able to install a garbage disposal on your own, especially if you're handy or have some experience with plumbing. However, if you have any concerns or want to make absolutely sure that the connections are installed correctly, you may be better off hiring a local garbage disposal installer to do the job.

Replacing a garbage disposal costs anywhere from $150 to $950, but the average cost is somewhere around $550. There are two types of garbage disposal units, and continuous feed disposals tend to cost more than batch feed disposals. Going for an aluminum garbage disposal is also significantly cheaper than choosing a stainless steel garbage disposal. You'll also need to factor in the horsepower of the motor, labor, and the removal and disposal of your old unit.

It’s one thing that helps, alongside vinegar and baking soda. Ice acts as an exfoliant, helping to lift off any bits of food stuck on the disposal blades.

These appliances certainly increase the number of things allowed down the drain, but they’re not foolproof. There are several items you shouldn’t put in your garbage disposal, according to manufacturers and technicians. Don’t put coffee grounds down the drain. The same goes for eggshells, potato peels, hard foods, onion skins, and any dry, expandable food. Most importantly, never put grease or oils down the drain.
