Yes, the job was well done, good quality, left clean after the work completed. Only difficulty was in securing a date for the work, needing to reschedule day or time several times.

not well. work was sloppy and not completed. only painted exterior of the stairs, left the bottom runs unpainted and the balcony planks were not firmly attached to the exterior frame. he was suppose to repair some areas of the house with stucco but never did. when I asked him to do a walk through with me, he never showed up. when I called him, he lied and said he was there but that I wasn't. I never heard back from him again

The tilework was awful. Nothing lines up, they obviously used a hand-tool to cut the tiles and not a tile saw. Everything is chipped and broken looking, and the wall isn't flush. Some of the mortar is overfilled and some is underfilled. They didn't even use corner pieces when they should have. The drywall work was also really bad. The existing is light orange peel. The new looks like they meant to do a heavy orange peel, but it's just a blobby mess. They sprayed joint compound all over the place. 1 day in and the joint tape is already cracking. They didn't cover up a piece of reinforcing tape. They forgot to put a piece of drywall back where they should have in the closet, and they didn't put back trim they had removed.
The project was 2 weeks late on a one week project and way over budget if you count mold remediation, which was a separate contract. They found some mold and told me I needed to hire a mold inspector and remediator. His bid came in at $2800 and the mold inspection cost $350. I found out later that most contractors would have just cleaned it up themselves for a fee. And the CA Department of Public Health says that mold inspections are a waste of money. I mean it's a bathroom. What did you expect?
Then to top it all off, because of the delays, my house was robbed. I'm have no proof that the robbery was an inside job, but I'm adding it as a data point in case anyone else has this same experience. The tile guy always had his buddies coming in and out, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was one of those guys. At the very least, it wouldn't have happened if the project had been on time. They bought the wrong tile at the store which resulted in a huge cost and headache to me. Their bid didn't include any materials so it was very hard to compare with anyone else's. I should be happy now that this project was done, but now I just feel like they cheated me out of all my savings, and I need to redo my bathroom again. They should be ashamed of the work they do.

The work went very well . We were pleased with how thorough and carefully this work was done . Also , we got our windows washed, too ! We will hire again !

He did a wonderful job on everything that I asked him to do. He was here on time, he went right to work an worked very hard through a very hot day. I am already in the process of making a list of a few more things that I would like him to come back to do. He will be the person I will call upon when I need a handyman.

After initial contact I was able to text him a few photos and he gave me a very reasonable estimate. He showed up when he said he would and completed the repair. Kept his number handy because I will contact again when needed

Gilbert responded timely and helped figure out my needs. He picked up the appliance and suggested ways to complete the project. He sent me pictures when the job was done. All of this service for a fair price. I would hire him again.

Really well. My deck was literally falling apart in spots and a section in front of a sliding glass door had significant dry rot that extended to a main beam that supported the house itself. Ron was professional from start to finish - kept all appointments on time, worked quickly and did a great job. Replaced all rotting boards and joists, cleaned up afterward and even threw in a quick repair to a GFI switch that had jammed and replaced a porch light fixture. I could not be happier

Handyman Contractor responded timely in looking over the dry rot on my back porch steps and suggested options for repair. Contractor was able to do a surgical repair rather than redoing the entire stairway. They were able to use some existing lumber I had, which saved money on materials. Overall satisfied with the responsiveness and quality of the work.
