"The Foundation Works was one of the contractors that bid for this work. Their initial inspection of the crawl space and the foundation was much more thorough than the other contractor. They also identified an area of the foundation that needed repair and included that work in their original estimate. Due to our travel we had to delay the work for several months after the original inspection and bid. We explained that to them and they had no problem with our scheduling issue. When we finally scheduled the work to be done they were very responsive and scheduled the work to our needs. Once the work began their team worked hard and diligently for both the bolting of the house as well as the repair work. The team finished in 3 days and kept us informed all along the way as to how things we going. Once finished they scheduled the Building Inspector who responded within a week. The Foundation Works foreman was there when the inspector arrived and went over the completed work. Between the finish of the work and the inspection I personally crawled the perimeter of the house and inspected the work and repair to reassure myself and the home owner that everything was completed. It was a dusty slow trip but I was not surprised to find everything in good order and all work satisfactorily completed. I was more than pleased with the quality of the Foundation Works job and their collaboration with us was terrific. I have already recommended them to a friend and wouldn't hesitate to give them as high a rating as I can. This is a well-run business!"

"My project was a 100' long, 7' tall concrete block wall. I met with both owners, not sumultaneously, but separately. Their communication was spot on, they were very friendly and knowledgeable. The work was completed in a very short period of time, the workers were extrememly capable and worked very hard to complete the project. I highly recommend them!"

"We had increasing issues with humps in our floors which prevented doors from opening and closing properly.  Alpha was able to lower the high spots and raise the low spots from underneath. 
There was also one place at the exterior kitchen wall where the foundation had broken and twisted due to ground movement.  They stabilized and repaired the crack, and poured a partial new foundation in that location.
While our house was bolted to the foundation, they upgraded the attachment methods to meet current codes.
They did a good job and quickly.  They prepared the engineering drawings, pulled the permit with the City, and called for the inspections in a timely fashion.
We can now open and close multiple doors fully, including the front door, which we had not been able to do previously.

"We switched projects and Jose tackled a drainage project instead of the brick path we had originally planned. He did the job well. I did have to mention that French Pipe needs to have the holes on the bottom, not top. We’ve had three good rain storms since the install and the project is diverting water from the house to the street. There were some irrigation lines they hit while digging but fixed quickly. Overall, very friendly and reasonably priced."

We were on a very tight schedule to accommodate a professional commitment and Del Mar rescheduled themselves to fit us in and completed the entire project as promised. "Our project was one step and a landing on our porch. Approx. 30 sq feet. We had the top layer of tile removed and concrete around the door area chiseled and jack hammered away. They then cut fossil stone for risers and step/landing in large squares as requested. They did put up a moisture barrier at the entrance and calked after grouting the stone. This was done upon the City of Downeys expectations. I believe that wouldn't have been done had I not called the city to come by to clarify the code for this job. So my only complaint is that some workers, actually most don't keep up or research the code. Then when the city does visit you may have to tear down a project and re do it. That can be costly and frustrating. Our porch and step look great. Not sure if the cost to us was cheap, but it is done and looks great."
