"Our main installer was Jesus, and he carefully explained each step of the work and then went over all the information we would need to know. We are very happy with all three items, saving electricity with the SolaTube as we no longer have to turn lights on during the day in our Master bath dressing area, we hope that the Solar attic fan is helping to keep the house cooler by exchanging the air in the attic when it gets hot. In our small home office we replaced an old skylight with new double glass skylight with a shade system and this has made a big difference in the office. Sunshine Experts, LLC did a great job for us and we are very happy to recommend them when anyone asks us about our experience."

"I absolutely could NOT be happier!! Josh and Mike arrived, after hours, and busted their tails to find the issue with my electrical issue. They narrowed it down but could not locate the exact location. Shane came out and helped them locate the problem, fixed it and restored order to my house. The awesome response, professionalism and dedication they all displayed was actually heartwarming. It's so good to know there are still companies around that will provide outstanding customer service and dedication without trying to break your bank account. The three technicians who came out were very knowledgeable, considerate, and extremely well-mannered. My wife and I are EXTREMELY impressed and very grateful. This company will always be my go-to place for my electrical needs!!! Shane, Josh and Mike, YOU ROCK!"

Electrical questions, answered by experts

In Nogales, electrical upgrades or repairs can impact your AC, well pump, or security system, especially if circuits are shared. Watch for flickering lights when appliances start, frequent breaker trips, or GFCI outlets resetting during storms. Homes with solar panels or backup power should have a professional check load balance and grounding to ensure all systems remain reliable during extreme weather or power fluctuations.

Helpful?

In Nogales, everyday habits like running multiple high-power appliances during peak heat, overloading home wiring with portable AC units, and neglecting regular electrical panel maintenance can shorten your system’s lifespan. Allowing dust to build up on outlets, letting weeds or brush grow near outdoor electrical boxes, and ignoring signs of water intrusion during monsoon season can all lead to premature wear or safety hazards.

Helpful?

For electrical projects in Nogales, select wire rated for high temperatures and dry conditions, such as THWN-2 or XHHW-2, and use rigid PVC or aluminum conduit to resist UV damage. Outdoor panels should be dust- and moisture-resistant, ideally NEMA 3R rated. Choose GFCI outlets for wet areas and tamper-resistant receptacles to enhance safety, especially in homes exposed to frequent dust and monsoon rains.

Helpful?

Nogales’ intense summer heat and frequent dust storms require using heat-resistant wiring and scheduling electrical work during cooler hours. Monsoon season brings heavy rain and lightning, increasing the need for surge protection and waterproofing outdoor connections. Persistent dust can clog electrical panels, while UV rays degrade exposed plastics, making regular electrical panel maintenance and outdoor electrical safety checks especially important.

Helpful?

In Nogales, it’s smart to keep a digital multimeter rated for high temperatures, insulated wire strippers, a non-contact voltage tester, and a strong flashlight for inspecting panels. Stock up on UV-resistant wire nuts, weatherproof electrical tape, dielectric grease for outdoor connections, and weatherproof covers. A small brush or compressed air helps clear desert dust from panels, while surge protectors are essential before monsoon storms.
