"We needed the locks rekeyed in our new condo. We called Larry and he made an appointment with me 4 hours later. He was there on time was very professional and knowledgeable. He rekeyed 4 locks, installed a new peephole and adjusted 4 striker plates on our interior doors. I would definitely contact Larry with any of my lock issues."

"Mark built us a beautiful fireplace addition to our patio as well as a brick inlay for our living room. We absolutely love it. Mark is a perfectionist and was very fun to work with. He has very neat working habits, keeping the work area tidy. We are looking forward to having him back soon, for another project."

"We recently hired this company to repaint all of our exterior doors and trim, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The crew showed up on time every day, walked the property with us beforehand to confirm colors and scope, and took the time to properly prep everything. They pressure washed, scraped loose paint, sanded rough areas, caulked gaps, and primed where needed. It was clear they didn?t cut corners on prep, which made a huge difference in the final result. The finish itself looks incredible. The lines between the trim and siding are sharp and clean, and the doors have a smooth, even coat with no drips or brush marks. The color coverage is consistent, and everything looks fresh and professionally done. It honestly made the whole exterior look newer."

Interior Design and Decorating questions, answered by experts

An architect is usually involved in the process of determining the layout and structural features and requirements of the home itself, taking into account the local codes, climate, and materials needed to make the home structurally sound. Architects may communicate more with contractors and subcontractors throughout the building process. In comparison to architects, interior designers typically focus on the aesthetics of a home interior and possibly exterior, helping the homeowner decide on color schemes, textures, and materials to incorporate into the design.

A pool builder can advise you on the best design for your property and vision, and can walk you through the process from design to a swim-ready pool. Knowing which questions to ask a pool builder can help ensure you choose the right person for the job.

When you think about Arts and Crafts-style homes, you probably think of a Craftsman house or a bungalow-style Craftsman. Craftsman is one of the major styles developed during the Arts and Crafts movement, but it checks most boxes. Craftsman houses have low-pitched roofs, exposed rafters, open floor plans, and stunning wood finish.

One of the easiest ways to save money when hiring a holiday decorator is to provide storage for your decorations. If you have the space, you can save hundreds or even thousands of dollars by avoiding storage costs through your professional. It’s also a good idea to provide as much direction as possible for your professional, as this can cut down on design services. Finally, you can pay for your decorator to take down your decorations at the end of the season, but packaging and storing them yourself will save money on labor.

Yes, most designers tailor plans to fit your budget. Discuss financial constraints during initial consultations.
