"I originally hired Eric to demolish and then install hardwood and tile flooring throughout my house. The project quickly grew to demolition of the kitchen and both bathrooms. Eric consistently took all changes in stride. Eric remodeled the guest bathroom, installing a new shower insert, toilet and vanity; he demolished the master bathroom shower and then beautifully retiled it. He installed a new vanity and toilet. Eric installed my washer and dryer, a utility sink as well as cabinetry in the laundry room. The new tile floors in the bathrooms and laundry room are beautiful! He took great care in laying the hardwood floors. He also assisted in connecting me with other subs in order to complete the project. Eric is honest and hardworking."

"This was one of the best project experiences I have had to date. The first thing the owner said when I explained what I needed was "I can help you with that." He came over to give me an estimate the very next day, and showed me a sample that was perfect for the colors I already had in the kitchen and dining room area. My kitchen already had ceramic tile, but Cesar gave me such a good price to do both areas, that I decided to go with that. I am so glad I did because the open kitchen and dining room area now looks bigger and so much more beautiful. The workers were all very pleasant and even more importantly, very talented and efficient. The area was cleaned and all debris removed. For such high quality work, I was additionally pleased that Rocky's could give me an fair and affordable price. I would not hesitate to call on this company again."

"The owner was fine, but Anthony, the installer made it all worthwhile. He was an absolute perfectionist (the outcome of my kitchen backsplash is beautiful) and he was a joy to have around as he worked."

"Chris came right away to help us. He was super friendly and informative. He gave us a fair estimate and had a crew here within 2 days. The install team of Ricardo and John were fantastic. They did a beautiful job and showed a lot of pride in their work. We will definitely recommend them to friends and family and we will use Wall to Wall Flooring again on future projects."

"Winston came out and talked to me about the project. He recommended some things that made more work for the guys, but the end product was very clean and sharp looking. He said easy way or the right way. Definitely looks awesome. The crew of three came every day until the work was finished. They installed 2,000 sq ft of pavers, sidewalk, main area, borders and some stairs."

"The flooring is absolutely beautiful. And the install was completed efficiently. The entire process was much easier than going to a store and bringing samples home. Will definitely use them again."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, even if you’re being careful, removing tile can damage your drywall to some degree. However, you can minimize the damage done to it by eliminating a majority of the grout and taking your time prying each tile off. Also, it's worth noting that you might have more drywall damages to deal with if your tile is set into the mortar.

You have creative freedom when it comes to your tile trim. If, however, you are considering skipping tile trim, please think twice about that. It is good practice to install tile trim, whether on walls or flooring. Think, too, about the aesthetic you are going for and choose a trim type and color that will help enhance the space.

On average, tiling a shower costs between $1,800 and $5,000, with most people paying around $2,700. The price of this project depends on multiple factors, including the kind of tile you choose, the size of your shower, and labor rates in your area. If you decide to tile your own shower (instead of hiring a professional), it’ll likely cost $800 to $1,400.

Yes, you can install a backsplash directly onto drywall, provided the wall is properly prepped, clean, and dry. For best results, especially in kitchen areas, your walls should be made of moisture-resistant drywall, often called green board. If your current wall isn't moisture-resistant, it's recommended to replace it before installing the backsplash. For even greater protection against water damage, you can remove the existing drywall and install a tile backer board or cement board instead. While properly installed standard drywall is typically strong enough to support a backsplash, some local building codes may require water-resistant materials in kitchen areas, so it's a good idea to check.

Glazed ceramic tiles don’t need to be sealed because the glazing already offers some protection against moisture. Unglazed ceramic tiles need to be sealed to keep the porous tile safe from moisture and staining. However, both types of tile can benefit from sealing. Sealant can make the tiles easier to keep clean and offer more resistance to water, spills, and stains.
