"Mold Neutralizers is the best in the business! I should know because mold has displaced me three times. For years I suffered through unusual and devastating health symptoms. When I finally had an appointment with a functional medicine doctor, she told me I had mold toxicity, and that I should have my home inspected. I could not believe it. My house was pristine, but I called Mold Neutralizers because I was very sick and needed answers. It was the best decision I have ever made because mold was found hiding under my bathroom vanity and in my HVAC system. From that moment on Mold Neutralizer went to work. Their expert team isolated the mold, and I hired them to remediate. At every turn they went over and above to help me. I sincerely thank every one of them. Because of them I feel safe again. Mold Neutralizers are experts in their field. They are honest. They are caring. Dont hesitate to call them! Ronda"

"We had water damage in our dining room and bedroom and discovered after testing that we had a mold situation. We called All Dry who quickly dispatched Rick to assess the situation and provide recommendations for remediation. Rick also was able to identify the root cause of the water damage which we quickly corrected. Alex, who did the remediation did a great job and post remediation testing came back good. Another positive worth mentioning was this was not a big job (though it was a big deal to us) however All Dry gave us the same excellent customer service as you would expect a bigger client to receive. Highly recommended."

"As a real estate broker, I needed a test on a property that had previously had mold remediation but I wanted to be absolutely sure my clients would be safe living there. Tracy was prompt, professional and kept the tight schedule I needed to get the results back before we closed on the property. I will definitely use their services again."

"We originally had a company come out for a mold testing who was referred by the plumbing company that came out to repair a leak. The guy gave us the impression they were after a high payout through our insurance company so we went out on our own and found Green Technology Specialist. Darwin was so professional informative and patient for us. He thoroughly explained the process how long it would take and all the tests that would be performed he also helped us save a few bucks by advising us on how to get asbestos testing done. We will be using his referral for the remediation of the findings and rest assured all work we are getting is thorough and justly priced. Thank you Darwin!"

Mold Testing and Remediation questions, answered by experts

According to the EPA, mold grows within 24 to 48 hours if left untreated after a water leak. So unless you notice the leak and stop it right away, you only have a day or so before mold is a real concern. If you don’t notice the leak, it can take about three weeks for the mold spores to become visible. That means you’ve likely had an active mold infection for a few weeks by the time you notice discoloration.

Yes, mold can grow in a wet dryer vent. Mold is a type of fungi, and fungi thrive in warm, moist conditions. Dryer vents need to be aired out so heat can escape and moisture can dry. If your dryer vents aren’t properly vented, the trapped heat and moisture will cause mold to grow, and the mold can spread to the dryer and even your clothes. Not only can this leave a musty smell on your freshly laundered clothes, but—more importantly—it also poses a health risk.

Mold on window sills is common, especially in damp or poorly ventilated areas. Windows are prone to condensation, which creates the moisture mold needs to grow. Dust, dirt, and other debris on the sills can further feed mold spores. While it’s not unusual, it should be addressed quickly to prevent further growth and potential health risks.

Yes, mold can build up in a dehumidifier if not properly emptied and clean. Clean it every few weeks by removing dirty water, scrubbing with a mild dish soap, and allowing it to fully dry before reassembling.

It’s unlikely your leaves are a hazard, especially if you get to them while they’re dry. However, a couple of rare risks exist. University studies suggest that decaying leaves can produce organochlorines, toxic pollutants similar to man-made PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), so avoid keeping them in an enclosed area.

Also, leaves and compost may cause the growth of fungi that can cause diseases like histoplasmosis and aspergillosis, as well as mold spores that are unhealthy for human lungs. Again, severe issues are rare, but those with compromised immune systems or allergies to mold should wear face masks when directly handling leaves.
