"Mr. Appliance came to my home on May 6, 2025, to diagnose my washer. Larry, the technician, was professional and explained a $99 diagnostic fee would be waived if I proceeded with the repair. I paid a $300 deposit for the part. When the part failed to fix the issue on May 8, Larry advised buying a new washer instead. I was told $201 of my deposit would be refunded by check, but over two months later I?ve still received nothing. I?ve emailed, called, left messages, spoken with Derek (who assured me the refund was coming), and even reached out on social media?yet no response. This lack of follow-through and communication is unacceptable. I simply want the refund I was promised."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "After getting quotes from 7 different companies, and researching the reviews online, I finally settled on The Mad Hatter Inc to do the duct cleaning in my house in Vestavia Hills. I liked the reviews I read, and felt that their price was very fair. This company has Duct Cleaning as its primary job whereas some of the other companies do mainly AC/ Heating work, but do the Duct Cleaning as a side (and they quoted exorbitant price). Two nice gentlemen from the Mad Hatter showed up promptly at my Front Door at 8:40AM on Sept 20th. They were very polite. First they looked through each room and the location of the vent, and the garage where the Central AC/Furnace is located. They did a thorough job in cleaning each of the air ducts (both vents and inlets). As they were about to leave, I learnt that they were brothers, and their names were Terry Hill and Lee Hill. It turned out that Terry Hill is the owner of the Mad Hatter Inc company ! I am very pleased with the job they did, and recommend The Mad Hatter Inc company for Duct Cleaning wholeheartedly."

"Our old unit had been giving us problems for the past four years. Jason and Kyle inspected the unit and suggested replacement due to a number of issues they found. The unit was difficult to get at as it was installed in our crawl space and took some time to remove the old unit. They did a great job as they replaced the old gas line which was too small and installed a new pressure regulator as we were experiencing a drop in water pressure if more than one faucet was open. Now have great water pressure and hotter constant water flow."

"All the personnel were polite and knowledgeable. The salesman completed a through assessment of the project. We discussed options and he provided me with an estimate within a couple of days. Once I made the decision to proceed, I was contacted by a project supervisor who discussed with me the timeline for installation. The project supervisor contacted my gas company for an assessment of the gas meter to insure it could handle the generator that was being installed. He also contacted the power company, arranged for all permits and inspections, and contracted a plumber to install additional gas line. Overall, he arranged for everything that needed to be done for the installation. On the installation day the team arrived 30 minutes before the scheduled time and began work. The work was completed in a timely manner and the generator was tested. Due to scheduling conflicts with the city and the power company the work could not be certified until the following day. The project supervisor worked with the power company to get us back on line so that we would not be without power for the evening. The following day the city inspector met with an electrician for the company and the generator was certified. The electrician then went through an education process with me and explained how the system was set up and what to expect. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend them. Be aware that the company does business under multiple names (Tidmore Inc, Huntsville Generator, Current Electrical and Generator Services). This was confusing at times."
