The inspections were performed side by side with licensed structural engineers. After the storm damage inspections were over, Steve began data collecting and inspecting other homes and properties for engineering firms. Steve also began shadowing one of the first licensed home inspectors in Alabama. Eventually, with several years worth of knowledge and experience, Steve joined ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) and became an Alabama state licensed, certified, and insured Home Inspector.
