Steve Wehrman first started learning about building construction in the late 1990s by performing drafting and design work for a structural engineering firm. This provided a working knowledge of home components and systems from the ground up. In 2005, Steve assisted on hundreds of home and business inspections along the Mississippi and Alabama gulf coast after hurricane Katrina. The inspections were performed side by side with licensed structural engineers. After the storm damage inspections were over, Steve began data collecting and inspecting other homes and properties for engineering firms.
