- Winchell ConstructionAustin was WONDERFUL. I'd been approached by scammers who told me my chimney was about to fall down; they climbed up onto the roof and just threw bricks down onto my side yard. They wanted (get this) $38,000 to fix the chimney, then said okay, $9,000. The scammers said it would take three men three days plus a scaffolding. I said forget and called Angi. Austin came over to put a tarp over the opening in the chimney because it was supposed to rain that night (nice of him, as he knew the tarp was unnecessary but wanted to reassure me that rain wouldn't get into my attic). Austin completed the job BY HIMSELF and it took him only one day. He even picked up and took away the bricks the scammers had throw into my side yard. He was charming and kind. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Recommend highly

When my parents purchased a home during the pandemic there were several minor and major plumbing problems found on inspection. Gene at Piperight got there quick and took care of it all and they work great. Also came in for simple jobs like getting some spray foam in a frozen kitchen sink cabinet that bad winter of 2020. Gene is very responsive and recently came in quickly to change out the kitchen sink faucet and inspect our water heater. A different water heater service company claimed that the chimney was blocked and sent me to a chimney flue cleaning company. Instead, Gene got up on the roof, put a tape measure all the way down and looked in there. No blockage. Since then a chimney sweep camera inspection confirmed the same conclusion. Saved us from making a wrong decision. We are awaiting a bid from him on a new water heater but he saved us from a big panic decision

"I had a wonderful experience with Craftsmen Home Improvements ("CHI"). First, they replaced my roof under an insurance claim. They made working with insurance painless, and they did a wonderful and timely job on the roof. The work crew was great and very hard-working. Next, I had them replace my siding with James Hardy. I have a big house, so this was a huge job. The crew was incredible. The were tireless workers, extremely courteous, conscientious, and professional. They made suggestions for improvements outside of the base-level job that made a HUGE difference in our home and those changes were affordable. They worked so hard to make sure I was happy with everything. Last, I had them replace my old wood soffits and fascia with aluminum, and add gutters and downspouts. Again, they did top-notch work. "he Chimney Pros did a chimney restoration on both of our chimneys after a chimney fire. Tanner was the brick Mason who did our brick work with Bruce as his assistant. They both earned 5 stars. Tanner did an excellent job choosing the replacement brick and mortar to match our existing brick and mortar. The transition between the existing brick and the new brick is flawless. Both Tanner and Bruce kept our property clean and tidy during the project, and left the work site in perfect condition. Tanner has excellent communication skills. "Maybe they do amazing work, I have no idea. I called 3 times over the course of 2 weeks and submitted requests for estimates twice. I spoke with someone 2 or 3 times on the phone and each time I was either told to go submit a request on the website or that he remembered my note and would go find it and email me with a time to set up an appointment asap. It never went any farther than that. If you are too busy or have other things going on and can't respond, that's totally understandable but please just say so so I don't waste my time. I'm rating a C b/c I'm going on the assumption that SOMETHING was going on that would legitimately explain this otherwise inexcusable behavior.
