Came out and checked out the chimney - chase cover had rusted and was letting water leak in ( had some staining on my ceiling ). Gave me a fair quote, had a custom stainless steel cover fabricated and installed quickly. They did a great job and would hire again.

C&A did a excellent job, they were cheaper than the other estimates I got. However I had no issues at all. I even got a stainless steel chase installed for the price most were charging for galvanized metal one's. I went with the stainless due to the fact it will last forever. C&A clean up nicely. There were prompt, and professional. I would recommend them. Tim Anderson the owner was very honest and professional. Thanks C&A. It seems its hard to find good help these days, No problem with C&A.

Tim (owner) Bryan (technician) were excellent. House was over 100 years old and has two fireplaces. Much work but all done with detail and very professional. Additional problems found but handled quickly. Numerous quotes received and this was also the best value.

It went very well! They worked quickly and efficiently and had excellent follow up as well. We got several quotes for this inspection, and C&A was by far the least expensive and most pleasant to work with!

We have a gas chimney, they were very nice, and showed up when they stated they were going to. They noticed our gas chimney, and stated they could not do the cleaning. The owner stated that he had a contact of a guy that would do the cleaning, and he would forward the payment that I sent through AngiesList. The follow up and contact information was never received. $99 was not reimbursted, and I did not get a call back from the owner. Relatively unsatisfied, a bit disappointed.

They were very professional and thorough. They laid down tarps from the front door to the fireplace to keep all the debris off the carpet. He did a great inspection and then cleaned the chimney thoroughly. Will hire again!

After inspecting the chimney, I was told it really didn't need cleaning, and since I had the logs etc done last year I indicated, that I really didn't want that done either. I told them that I just was looking for assurances that I wasn't inviting a potential fire hazard. My fireplace is gas and is only started a couple times a year which accounted for the cleanliness. They were ver professional and I got what I wanted, so I was glad to have the service provided.

Scheduling was a huge mix up. They set my date for a Sunday via email, which seemed questionable. The day came and went and I did not hear from them. I got it rescheduled for 2 weeks later. After they called me several times in 2 consecutive days, asking the exact same questions each time, and also telling me each time there may be an additional surcharge, I got irritated with them and asked them to just come do the job. When they showed up, the guy sent in a pleasant young man to do the job. The main guy never greeted me, nor spoke to me, and did not even come in the house to inspect my fireplace The young man seemed confused too, but he did a fine job. This was undoubtedly the most unprofessional experience I have had with a contractor, and I typically am very casual with my expectations. It was almost comical.

I was very satisfied with their performance and professionalism. Tim seemed very knowledgeable.
