Mr. Mohler responded to our request to view and estimate cost to replace failing top section of our chimney.  Within two weeks and warm weather, they began the work.  Used multiple drop cloths, even under their truck in the driveway.  They were able to complete the major part of the project in one day.  Second day was just to take down the scaffolding and wash down the brick and stone work one final time.
We were amazed with the work effort and the very polite craftsmen team.  They took pride in this small project and it looks beautiful!

I initially contacted Mohler Chimney to inspect the outside of the chimney when I bought my house (built in 1925) almost 2 years ago.  The chimney had been repaired badly over the years  and needed work.  Mohler Chimney has worked on several homes in my neighborhood, so I was able to talk with people and see the chimney work.  John Mohler informed me of the work that needed to be done and gave me an estimate as to the cost.  I couldn't afford to do it right away, and when I contacted them in September 2015 they came out to look at it again and the estimate was the same.  John told me the work would start in 2-3 weeks (it did), and they would call ahead of time.  In the meantime, he selected bricks that would match the existing bricks as closely as possible and left them for me to look at.  John knows his bricks!  Nick let me know the day before they came to start work, and it took just 2 days.  They were punctual, professional, informative, and did good work.  They cleaned up nicely and none of my plants were harmed.  The new chimney looks great!  I definitely recommend Mohler Chimney Repair.

     This is a company that is excellent in every way and John Mohler is a pleasure to work with.  I had obtained about 5 bids and I knew within a couple of minutes of talking with him that I would more than likely choose him.  His bid amount came somewhere in the middle of everyone's.  He is not your "typical" contractor and is not full of the usual "swagger and stuffing" that you often come across in the building/remodeling industry.  To my mind, he sets the gold standard as to how all contractors should be running their businesses.
     He did everything he said he would and more.  He has excellent communication skills, kept me updated as necessary prior to starting, and I felt completely at ease throughout the whole process.  You will not be disappointed in choosing this company.  Seriously - Absolutely no aggravation or frustration.  His crews are well-trained, courteous, very skilled, and quick.  My "new" chimney is lovely and perfectly matches my 1922 house and I'm good to go for another 30 or so years!  Many thanks to Nick and the rest of the crew for a job really well done!  I really have not had a better experience with any other home improvement/remodeling company.

Could not have asked for better service from Mohler.  The men who did the actual work, Nick and his crew, arrived exactly on time and went about their work.  Early on I asked for an estimate of when the work would be done and they finished very close to that time.  They did a great job of cleaning up the worksite and the surrounding area.

• I was called as a courtesy one day prior to when the men started.The men were friendly and professional, and they worked quickly and efficiently.I was consulted as to the color of the new brick, because my old brick could no longer be matched.  I was also consulted as to whether or not I wanted stone as well as the brick.The men were at my home for only two days.They did an excellent job and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves.They informed me of a new antenna that I could try that would be placed inside my home.  They bought this and tested it for adequate reception before my old antenna, which was attached to the chimney, was hauled away.All the old brick and the old antenna were disposed of.I could not have been more satisfied with their work.

The owner, John Mohler,  sent me a written estimate for my project (removing my old chimney and replacing it with a new one) within a week of my contacting his firm.  Once we selected his bid he told us what we needed to do to prepare for the work, which was to select the style of brick we wanted - John suggested where we might look at samples.
After we had made our choice, John got the needed building permit and then the mason crew arrived and began the work when John said they would and when they completed the work (again, exactly when predicted) the bill was exactly the bid's stated amount.
His people were very tidy with their materials, respectful of our neighbors and of our privacy and their efforts have prompted several neighbors to inquire about contact information.

They did an absolutely beautiful job. The workers were very friendly and professional They did the design and we, along with our neighbors are very impressed. We had some vines growing up onto the roof, and they removed those and desposed of them.
