  • Pollard Home Remodeling
First off, Mike is a very nice young man and a hard worker. We had been looking at a kitchen remodel but having a hard time getting good quotes and people who understood what we wanted. I called Mike and he was super friendly and accommodating to us. He made an appointment and showed up on time t discuss what we wanted. We hired Mike to do the job and he did not disappoint. While we made several changes during the project and Mike never blinked. He made changes as we requested and guided us on what was the best way to move forward. The kitchen remodel became a kitchen and bath remodel along with the laundry area. Mike did a great job and we are in love with our new kitchen and bathroom. I would recommend to any of my friends

  • Pure Properties LLC
We are very impressed by the professionalism, and skill of Pure Properties. Our new home came with a miserable little bathroom with a plastic insert shower tub. Other generic quick installation shower companies were too expensive for the quality of work they advertise. We called Trever, and Pure Properties, to put in a walk-in floor-to-ceiling tile shower. He came within the week to talk with us about shower design, and installation. Trever made sure we knew exactly what construction and waterproofing was needed to change our tub to a shower with no surprise expenses. We were able to purchase our own large tile, and the tiler did a fantastic job with the tile design. Everyone who worked on our project was respectful of our time, and our home. Luis, Gio, Jesus, and Jean did a wonderful job! We appreciate all their diligence and hard work

  • Advanced Home Solutions
Advanced Home Solutions was responsive, courteous, & professional from our initial communication. They scheduled a site visit to accommodate my schedule, which was of value to me, because of my work schedule. They inspected the issues that I asked them to take a look at, identified the cause of the problems, & proposed reasonable solutions to fix the issues & prevent the problems from reoccurring. Their pricing was fair, & their work was clean. I appreciated the way they addressed my service request with urgency & professionalism. I haven’t had any issues with the repairs, & they will be my go-to service provider for all things plumbing & general repair related going forward. I have recommended Advanced Home Solutions to 3 different colleagues already, & I will continue to refer them to anyone with home repair needs

  • Max Appliance Service
These guys are awesome! I woke up to finding a puddle of water around my refrigerator so I naturally assumed that I had some kind of leak in the lines. I called these guys and they showed up right away. Anyhow he searched and searched but said he couldn't find any leak. But then he looked around and discovered that it was coming from a water bottle nearby that must've just broke down and formed a hole in the bottle. He held it up and showed it to me and I have to admit that I felt pretty stupid lol. Anyhow...he asked me about my icemaker being empty and I told him that it was broken and that my last repairman (who charged me a small fortune for trying to fix it) told me that he couldn't find any parts for it. I never used ice anyhow so I just resigned myself to not using it. Well....this guy fiddled around in the back for a few seconds and lo and behold the icemaker started working for the first time in several years! He just charged me a very modest service fee for showing up. At that point I felt pretty smart for calling him and wished that I had known about him sooner. I'll be calling these guys for all my appliance needs going forward and you should do the same

  • North Carolina Water Consultants
We have well water where we live. We had numerous issues based off of multiple, independant testing. After having a few different companies out for estimates we decided to use North Carolina Water Consultants. Eddie was wonderful when he came out, very knowledgeble and took the time to explain our issues to us. When the day came for installation the team arrived on time, they were very professional during the installation and took the time to explain everything to us before they left. Since we had the system put in I feel we have the highest quality water we have ever had. We notice it everyday, especially how great our hair looks now. I highly recommend North Carolina Water Consultants for all your water filtration needs. Our only regret is that we didn't put this system in earlier

  • Independent Plumbing
Will saved us the service call by requesting photos, location & age of the gas heater. He recommended we purchase a $5 cap at a hardware store & keep watching it. He advised heaters last 10-14 years so this was a great heads-up for a purchase coming soon, before our 15 year old unit causes a big mess! AND, Will is handsome

  • Chilton Enterprises
Matt did an incredible job on several projects getting our home ready to sell. From top to bottom, inside and out he tackle each job professionally. Added a large double chimney cap, pressure washed the house/porch and stained the two story deck, repaired plumbing leak, sealed basement walls with dry-lock, painted interior rooms. Trimmed trees, shrubs, blew leaves, mowed and groomed flower beds. Matt made several suggestions to minimize our costs, and optimize our schedule to get the house ready for sale. The Realtor was also very impressed with the work completed

  • Friddle Mark Plumbing
Mark saved me over $1000 that Roto Rooter tried to scam out of me. He told me that my water heater did NOT require an extra expansion tank (that Roto Rooter was insisting was now code and I HAD to get one) because we have a well. I called out Roto Rooter on that and then they admitted i didn't need it and then said they would fix the leak for free without installing an expansion tank. I said No Thank You and gave my business to Mark. Saved me over $1000 yesterday

  • Dynamic Plumbing
Dynamic Plumbing has completed a few jobs for me. Joshua is very conscientious. He makes sure the job is done right! He is honest and very fair. I would highly recommend him. His last project for me was my kitchen sink. Its gorgeous and finally does not leak. Two other plumbers worked on it. Josh fixed it! My bathroom is next

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
