AES was a pleasure to work with from the beginning consultation to the completion of the project. I liked the fact that we were able to select items from anywhere and not confined to limited choices as with some companies. I was able to design the bathroom exactly as I wanted as the allowances allowed me the flexibility to be creative. The tile installer was a perfectionist and his attention to detail is reflected in his work. We are thrilled with the finished master bath and are happy with our selection of AES as our remodeler

Great! I dealt with many companies in the past, but honest Abe is the one I keep returning to. They’re very helpful in describing the issue and what needs to be done. They also have given me multiple options in the past. I even have had cases where they returned a month later on work they had done before there saw it was related and fixed it without charging me. I couldn’t be happier

If you are thinking about or planning to renovate your kitchen, my wife and I can highly recommend Kitchen Saver Custom Cabinet Renewal for consideration. Our 46+ year old house was in need of a kitchen makeover. We looked at other companies but Kitchen Saver met all of our requirements at a reasonable price and in a projected timeframe that was 25% of the time required by their competition. We first met with Dan who made sure he understood our requirements and offered suggestions for consideration. He told us about and provided examples of materials and possibilities we had not realized were available. He made certain we understood what we would be buying, the time needed for each step of the project, and the tasks we needed to do in preparation. Project scheduling was handled smoothly and professionally by the office staff headed by Carol. In fact, after the original start date was set, they offered us the opportunity to start earlier and we accepted. On the start date, Brandon Montelune, the project leader and his assistant Walter arrived at the expected starting time and worked steadily. Even when working on his own, Brandon was meticulous and productive. He made sure we were satisfied with each step as he progressed through the project. At the end of the project, we had occasion to deal briefly with Derrick, Brian, Craig, and Nathan and each of them were top-notch individuals who demonstrated our satisfaction was their prime objective. Overall, Kitchen Saver and their employees were respectful of our home, and courteous to us in every interaction. Our total experience was one of dealing with a professional high-quality company. Honest Abe has been of great service to me. They have repaired and replaced the A/C system, helped with plumbing and HVAC issues, and replaced the sump pump. They are professional. reasonably prices, reliable, and yes- honest. I highly recommend them.

A customer rep phoned me in response to my Angi request. I was able to schedule a repair for the following morning Nick and Sol arrived during the 9-2 window. They quickly determined the problem and in short time cut out and replaced the leaking metal drainpipe with PVC. They left the work area dry and cleaner than before. I paid a non-refundable fee over the phone at the time I made the appointment and paid the repair cost when the job was done. The cost was reasonable for a job I couldn't do myself. I will call Honest Abe again next time the house has a plumbing problem

When I called their office John was quite pleasant and informative to talk with, giving me a very reasonable quote. I made the appointment, and the work went very smoothly with Bob and his helper. Bob went over the installation with me, and it was completed in a little over an hour or so. Very professionally done, neat and clean finished job of a new toilet. They stood by their very reasonable quote and never asked for an upfront deposit. If you are looking for a particularly good plumbing company, I would certainly suggest this company

The three jobs were done far beyond what the word great means. The repairman, Sol, did a great and timely job. I now have peace of mind. I will be having additional work done shortly by Sol and Honest Abe Plumbing

Tim Mitchell was my kitchen installer and he did a phenomenal job! He was very punctual, he cleaned up each day before he went home and he was just a genuinely very nice person. His carpentry skills were wonderful. I had a difficult job that required a lot of problem solving and Tim was on it and solved every issue that came up and left me with a stunning kitchen. His attention to detail made my kitchen renovation sheer perfection, he didn’t miss not one small detail and I am beyond happy with the service I received. Jason in sales did a nice job and was always available for any questions I had, he wanted to make sure I was happy and he went above and beyond to ensure that

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
