I went on Angie’s list looking for a reasonably and reliable plumber who could give me a free estimate coming into my home to diagnose the problem.I received a quick phone call from Ryan from Pipe Dreams Plumbing wanting to assist as quickly as possible. He showed up at my door within 15 minutes. He was very professional and diagnosed the issue fast.He explained everything clearly so we understood what needed to be done. He scheduled the service very quickly. Showed up on time, Removed our hot water heater and replaced with a brand new one. Completed the work efficiently , and my hot water is working perfectly again. "John E. Ruth company remodeled our basement bathroom several years ago (about $7000). They completely gutted the old bathroom and rebuilt it from scratch. The work they did was first-rate and the bathroom still looks beautiful.
After superstorm Sandy, we had them come back and install a water-powered backup sump pump as well as cleaning and lining our old sump and replacing the old electric pump. The backup has worked flawlessly on the few occasions when the power was out and it came on.
However, last week, there was a problem with the pipe leading from the main sump pump. Over time and with much use, the coupling worked itself loose. Fortunately, John E. Ruth sent out a plumber, Charlie, within an hour after I called them and he came up with a permanent fix to the problem.
The supervisor (Jim Arnold) agreed that we did not owe them anything for this repair because they had originally installed the backup pump.
Overall, we have been very pleased with the work they have performed and they stood behind their work when it counted. Also, they responded very quickly to our emergency. We would definitely use John E. Ruth plumbing again.
