I'm 45 years old and started roofing at the age of 17 as an apprentice for my Brother in-law who was a Master Carpenter, Business owner,and 20+ years my senior. Soon after in early 2000's I ventured out on my own and started picking up as a subcontractor doing everything I had learned from my experiences. A lot of the work was In lake Holiday community in Cross Junction va. Word of Mouth and recommendations kept me busy. I got out of the business about 2012 because I found it hard to get a crew together and decided to get into Graphic arts and a job in Fairfax county.
