"Danny was my technician and I found him to be reliable, knowledgeable, perseverant, and professional. I procrastinated several months on finding an electrician to fix a wiring issue that was affecting the lighting in my basement because I was intimidated by what I thought would be a huge cost, and by what a different electrician had told me. It was recommended that I purchase the half day electrician for the day package which was a great deal for what I needed. Danny took his time trying to diagnose the problem and when he found it there was a slight chance the repair would involve cutting into the drywall. He had a solution that would have avoided that but in the end he was able to find and fix the problem without any wall cutting. I appreciated his tenacity. I also appreciated that as a female homeowner I was treated fairly and respectfully. Danny made some recommendations that I will mostly likely follow-up on. "It went pretty smoothly. One of the best contractors I have had from Choice Home Warranty. Century Restoration Maintenance, LLC and owner PeAyre Gardner were awesome. I have had CHW several years and I wanted to cancel because every thing we called about they denied the claim. My husband decided to keep them. I was pleasantly surprised that they fixed both the leak and drywall in the ceiling from the leak. I did have to provide extra pics from the leak before it was approved as initially the claim was denied."

"He was supposed to be and out by October 10th because I had a painter scheduled for the 13th of October.  My painter even gave him a couple more days to get done and that did not help.  The painter had to try and work behind him as he finished each part of the job.  He even waited until the painter had his drop cloths down and started sanding the walls.  He spent a day putting the basement door in instead of getting the work done upstairs so the painter could paint.  The painter had to finally leave and wait until the work was done to come back and finish painting.  There were days when he was supposed to be here and he never showed.  If you choose to hire him make sure you explain to him that you do not use the foul language that he does when he is in someone's home.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"The initial consultation was scheduled online and the company was very prompt to respond and schedule a home visit.  They arrived as scheduled and were very detailed in explaining options.  They also came when scheduled for follow up visits for measurements, inspections, etc.  Some personal matters resulted in me delaying the start of the work by several months and the company was very understanding and willing to work with me.  Once the work was actually scheduled to start, the installer arrived as planned.  He was professional and diligent in performing the work, which took about 2 weeks to finish.  As the first phase of the demolition started, he identified some things that could be done to open the main room up, which were good suggestions that were accepted.  He also performed other repairs that were identified along the way, like unforseen cracks in walls that he patched, and rotting wood that needed to be replaced to install the new windows.  The cost estimate that was initially quoted was the true final cost, in spite of the little adjustments that had to be made along the way.  There were no issues with the county inspections, which they coordinated at each phase.  They did not disrupt my neighbors as the work progressed and cleaned up at the completion of the job.  About half way through the job, I received a call from the representative that had set up the initial contract just to check in and see how things were going.  I really appreciated that.  The entire Remodel USA team, from the initial consultation, to the delivery of the materials, and the actual installation, was well communicated and coordinated.  I would definitely consider using this company again for remodeling and renovation work.  The cost was a little higher than a traditional remodel with drywall installation, etc. but the basement system is of the highest quality and well worth the extra cost, plus it comes with a warranty.
