"First and foremost, Nick had very good follow up . Itâ s amazing how many companies we had a hard time getting them to call us back. Nick was quick to call and or text back. In the bidding process he was always in contact with us. We had him do pavement repairs on our parking lot, ( some large cut outs, and repaving was done ) then crack filling and last was seal coating and parking space stripes. The lot was 98,500 sq ft. They did the repairs and seal coating in two full days. He was in the middle of the bidding quotes. We tossed out all the cheap bids and tossed all the super high ones. His company Done-Rite was not the cheapest , but we wanted quality , and like anything ....... you get what you pay for ! We own other commercial properties and will let him bid those too when the time comes. Iâ ve waited a couple of weeks before writing this review to make sure weâ re happy with the results. & we are. "I know of no other contractor who has total customer satisfaction as his top priority like Mr. Flanagan does. He is absolutely the best.
My basement sustained ankle-deep water as the result of an outdoor basement stairwell drain that violently backed up because its circa-1951 drain line led to the street storm sewer (by design). That sewer was overcome with water during a storm in the summer of 2010 that featured a tornado in my western-suburbs area. Soon after pumping the water out of my basement with a mobile pump, the mess prompted me to (once again*) call Mr. Flanagan (*His crawlspace crew had done a beautiful job finishing my dirt-floor crawlspace with a concrete floor and wall insulation a couple of years earlier).
After the basement waterproofing project described in this review was complete, however, I was disappointed with the workmanship: The concrete work looked less-than-professional (out-of-flush with sump flange and the stairwell drain, plus way too many swirl marks and splattering) in the stairwell and basement's appearance areas. In short, it just didn't look like his business's flawless concrete job that was done in my crawlspace just years earlier.
Mr. Flanagan agreed. With no questions asked, he immediately had a different crew come to my home, tear out all of the previously laid concrete and drain lines and replace it with the workmanship that he would expect his crews to use in their own homes. The re-do of the project at least had met my high expectations for its cosmetics. And, of course, I hoped it was a sufficient waterproofing solution for my basement.
Fast forward just a few short years. Affter having perhaps sustaining that 100-year event with the Chicago-area rain storm of April 17-18, 2012, while my neighbors are pumping water out of their basements, mine remains bone dry. Thank you Mr. Flanagan and Crawlspace / Basement Waterproofing Solutions for a job (design and installation) well done. Your basement waterproofing solution indeed deserves an A+.

"We really enjoyed working with J.D. Griffiths and especially our sales rep, Jerry Kiefer. From our initial meeting to the final inspection, he was very responsive and helpful along the way. For the initial estimate, after asking a few questions about our needs and taking some measurements, Jerry was able to sketch out a design and walk us through his estimate within about a half hour. The estimate shared a We took a few days to think and then had him back to sign the contract. Since our garage is located very prominently on our city lot, we wanted to add some touches to add to its character and to match our house. Looking through the gallery on their site and working with Jerry - we were able to add some nice feature. These included a small window, shake-style shingles and a brick beltline. We also were interested in having skylights installed; which they also installed for us, just asking that we purchase them on our own and have them ready for the builders. We're extremely pleased with how everything turned out and would enthusiastically recommend them!"

"Andiry came out a couple of times.  I finally decided to do concrete (I had been debating on whether to replace with landscaping blocks).  its about 40 feet long, 3 feet wide, needed to be pitched correctly, and the old walkway had to come out.  Andiry came out on a Saturday (on time) to write the contract, and started work 2 days later.  It was done 5 days later.  It looks great, and the work site was cleaned up.  there is a bit of a language barrier, but it's easy to work through.

"Jake was professional and meticulous with every detail. He replaced the ugliest concrete slab that previous owners had slapped additional concrete on top. It was a cracked dangerous mess with concrete pieces missing. He arrived quickly and at the time he said. My sidewalk is no longer a serious hazard and the new slab is beautifully done. He filled the sides with topsoil and cleaned up after work was finished. The railing was something this old lady really needed. I am sure Jake saved me from a serious fall. He put the same effort into the railing he did with the concrete slab. It’s beautiful! I love it! I am so very happy I hired Jake for these jobs! I am very grateful for his excellent work."
