"I am sure that these guys are able to do drywall work well. Especially where making a mess does not matter such as in new home construction. My experience on my popcorn ceiling removal project was not good. The guys did not know how to scrape a popcorn ceiling so I sent them a video. They also did not know how to paint. They made a very large mess and I had to clean up after them. Experience matters. In Spanish, because they didn’t speak English well. Estoy seguro de que estos tipos son capaces de hacer bien el trabajo de paneles de yeso. Especialmente cuando hacer un desastre no importa, como en la construcción de casas nuevas. Mi experiencia en mi proyecto de eliminación del techo de palomitas de maíz no fue buena. Los chicos no sabían cómo raspar un techo de palomitas de maíz, así que les envié un vídeo. Your home's location, budget, and the type of insulation you’re using are just a few of the factors that can help you choose the right insulation. For example, blown-in insulation is typically used in attic spaces, while batts and rolls are ideal for floors and walls. Blown-in insulation is usually a good option if you're adding more insulation to an area that already has some, but not enough.

2x4 walls can hold R-13 or R-15 batts of insulation, which is usually about 3.5 inches thick. You should also check with your local building codes to see if there’s a required thickness you need to adhere to. 

You can also use R-value maps to determine the best thickness and ratings for where you live. For example, someone in Texas doesn’t need as thick of insulation as someone in Montana. Energy Star has a good one you can reference.

It is possible to insulate your walls without removing drywall, but it’s not a good idea to attempt the work yourself. A professional can use blown-in insulation or spray foam insulation to fill wall voids without opening up the walls, and the option they use typically depends on your climate and whether or not there’s insulation in your wall already that can remain in place.
