"Robert was great. I needed help installing my 75" tv. I left a message over the weekend. He called me in the morning on Monday, and TV was installed that same afternoon. He was able to provide the mount and at a fair price. All in all, very glad to find his service and expertise. After the mounting we chatted about other upgrades I wanted to do and he gave me some helpful advice on what to think about. I would definitely recommend his services."

"Chris was responsive whether I contacted via cell or email through Angie's List.He appeared knowledgeable about paint and painting.   I was concerned about painting a house so close to the end of the season but Chris told me that at this time of year (Fall) he uses a special paint blend designed for low temp drying and moisture/humidity tolerance.  He said he’s had good results with it. Painting a house at this time of year is not a problem but can be delayed by rain or daytime temps below 50. He pointed out places where the wood had rotted and was worse than visible.     He could do both cedar and plywood repair sand painting and the price quote included both.My 2 story house is aluminum siding with painted cedar trim and porch railings.    Chris estimated 2-3 days for both repair sand painting, depending on how many coats needed.Chris told me that because of the white color I picked and the age/discoloration of the existing paint,  one coat may or may not provide acceptable results.  He gave me two price quotes for 1 and 2 coats.    One coat did look pretty good but in some areas I could see variations so I went with  a 2nd coat   The price I put here was the final cost.  Chris did not require me to commit to a 2nd coat before seeing results of one coat.   With 2 coats and with weather cooperating the job took 3 days, what Chris had estimated. His crew paid very unusual (in my experience) attention to detail:   The soffit attic vent openings were not clogged with paint as previous painters had done.    Remarkable attention to the paint lines where painted wood met brick, siding, gutters, or glass.  Lines were straight with no spill-over, no paint were it wasn’t supposed to be.   No paint spatters on any pavement.   Rotting cedar and plywood replaced;  the carpentry matched perfectly the surrounding wood and left no hint a repair had been made.   One perennial trouble spot for me, a wood garage door frame that frequently had peeling paint and rotting wood due to contact with uneven pavement that permitted rain/melt water to pool, was replaced with a type of textured plastic “siding” at Chris’s suggestion.  It looks perfect, no hint it isn’t wood, and now won’t rot.   The gutter downspouts were removed in order to paint behind them.   Previous painters did not do this.   Replacement appears solid (no loose brackets or misalignment).   All nail pop-ups (many) were hammered down.    At end of every day my yard was cleaned up with tarps and ladders stored neatly out of the way.   They used my garden hose for some cleaning, each day that was disconnected, coiled up and replaced as I had it.Chris and his crew worked around my schedule, not requiring me to wake up early.Unexpected detail:  Chris left, got and installed metal replacement house numbers when the 20 year old plastic ones crumbled while being removed to paint behind them."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Yes, drywall can hold a 50-pound TV. However, when mounting a TV, you’ll either need to attach it to wall studs or use drywall anchors. If you use anchors, make sure to buy a type that can hold at least 50 pounds. Molly bolts, threaded anchors, and toggle bolts are all good options. For extra support, you can also install a wall mounting plate with the anchors.

If you want to enjoy your favorite movies from the comfort of your backyard or patio, you can mount a TV outside. You’ll want to be thoughtful about its location, ensuring it’s away from water and heat, like a grill or pool. Placing it under a roof, awning, or gazebo is usually a good idea as well for extra protection. Outdoor wiring does add an extra layer of complications with this project, so it may be worth it to hire an electrician to help.

Yes, many professionals offer wall mounting and securing options for media consoles with attached TVs.

The cost to have a TV professionally mounted typically ranges from $160 to $360, with a national average of about $260. This price is for labor and does not include the TV mount itself. Several factors can affect the final cost, including the size of the TV and the type of mount used; for example, a fireplace mount costs more than an under-cabinet one. If you want to hide the wires within the wall, the price can increase significantly, potentially to $1,000 or more. For an accurate estimate, it is best to contact a local TV mounting service.

Fire and electronics typically don't mix, but that doesn't mean you can't mount your TV on a brick fireplace. However, you should proceed with caution. If you do not use your fireplace regularly, you can be assured that your TV will remain undamaged. However, if you do take advantage of it, be aware that hot air, containing soot, will travel upwards. Even with the flue fully open, the temperature above the fireplace can still get very high.
