"Called company on Monday and got an appointment for an inspection on Wednesday. That following Monday, the technician arrived and went through each step is sealing off the concrete foundation to the water leak. The fix worked well and was put to the test with the recent record rains. Not one drop of water came into the basement."

"I recently had a concrete patio, steps, and a shed pad installed and couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, the team was prompt and professional, showing up on time and ready to work. Their communication was excellent—we always knew what to expect and when. Once they got started, the crew worked quickly and efficiently, finishing the job in far less time than I expected without cutting corners on quality. The pricing was also very competitive compared to other quotes I received. Overall, I am very pleased with the results and would absolutely use them again for future project. My neighbor already asked for their number lol."

"Andiry came out a couple of times.  I finally decided to do concrete (I had been debating on whether to replace with landscaping blocks).  its about 40 feet long, 3 feet wide, needed to be pitched correctly, and the old walkway had to come out.  Andiry came out on a Saturday (on time) to write the contract, and started work 2 days later.  It was done 5 days later.  It looks great, and the work site was cleaned up.  there is a bit of a language barrier, but it's easy to work through.

"The general carpentry was completed fairly well. The issue came with the floor leveling and tile installation. When Andy poured a layer of leveling liquid he must have had it a little too thick because he had to trowel it around and when it dried it was not level. So he poured a second layer of leveling liquid on top. this layer came out flat a least. He then laid the tile. There is a ridge running right down the middle of the bathroom ... I.E. if I hold a 2 ft straight edge across the tile one end is 1/2 inch higher than the other. Having a 1/2 inch variance in a distance of 1 1/2 ft is not acceptable. The other resulting issue from laying 2 layers of leveling liquid was that the bathroom floor ended up 1 1/2 inches higher than the bedroom floor. I ended up hiring other contractors to redo the edge on the tile and ramp the bedroom carpet up to hide the 1 1/2 inch step up into the bathroom. Andy is a nice guy but due to numerous issues I could not wait for him to get done. If you hire Andy to do work for you, I would recommend that you avoid having him do any tile work."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

A sinking foundation can be lifted, most often by installing piers to re-level and support the weight of the house. Depending on the cause and extent of the sinking, other methods to lift a foundation include underpinning and mudjacking. Consult a foundation repair pro to determine the best way to lift your sinking foundation.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The total drying time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it needs to harden fully to prevent the concrete slab from shifting under added weight. You should avoid walking on the concrete or placing heavy items like furniture or vehicles on the surface until it has fully set. Your concrete contractor can provide a precise timeline. As a point of comparison, if you opt for polyjacking, the polyurethane foam can dry in minutes, but it's recommended to wait about an hour before use.

It’s best not to perform mudjacking in the winter unless the ground temperature remains above freezing. Freezing temperatures can cause the slurry to harden too quickly, compromising its strength and longevity. Concrete is also more susceptible to cracking and splitting in cold temperatures, so there’s a higher risk of damaging the slab during the drilling and lifting process in winter.

Charges correlate with surface size, settlement depth, and access, often yielding significant savings over concrete replacement.
