"We called Current Electric initially for the replacement of our ceiling light fixture (~16ft ceiling, and a 50+lb existing fixture.) We were scheduled right away (for a few days out,) and they sent two people for the job, because of the weight of the fixture. Joseph W. and his associate were extremely professional, polite, and skilled at their work. Our fixtures were switched out in under 30min, they updated the dimmer for improved LED capability, and were able to replace a GFCI outlet outside that had been rusted out from being improperly "fixed" before we bought our house. They also gave us quotes for other things. All in all, their quotes came in a tad over what we had seen online/called around about, but the service kind of makes up for it. The peace of mind and professionalism is worth a lot. We will definitely be calling them back!"
Current Electric is locally owned and operates from Wauwatosa, WI. We've been serving SE Wisconsin since 1983.
Our team did all of the electrical design and installation for this beautiful kitchen.
Whether you are building a new home or just need a few new outlets, Current Electric can accommodate all of your electrical needs.

"Gary did a great job. He communicated with me promptly to set up the appointment and was able to come early. He ran the line, installed the switch for the light and fan and cleaned up in the said time. Would defiantly use him again."

"The cleaning service AAABR uses is simply amazing.  We've used the big maid services before, as well as independents and no one has done a job as good as them.  Everything was spotless.  They were fast, and most importantly, gentle on my floors and furniture. I had one of the big companies (initials are MM) do our place before and they were always banging into the floors, leaving nicks in the baseboards, etc.  Not AAABR.  Gentle, fast and a very good price (our house is 3000 square feet).  Would highly recommend them to anyone.

"All Star Installations Inc was professional in every way. We had our roof replaced and our chimney cap repaired. They did both jobs with skill and precision. They were thorough, hardworking, and an immense pleasure to work with. They did a tremendous job from start to finish and the clean up was impeccable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The new roof and chimney cap on our home looks amazing! I highly recommend All Star Installations Inc. Ryan and Chris are top notch!!"

In this business, there are two kinds of people. The first would be the average company who works an area, doing the same jobs repetitively. The second, a company that has traveled state to state, completed jobs in every atmosphere, and with every request imaginable. We've done small bathroom remodels, to tile-animal art on private homes in upper class neighborhoods, to creating home decor and outside masterpieces completely out of tile, stone, marble, and about 35 other materials! Contact us for a free estimate within 45 miles from our home in Horicon, WI. We also handle intermediate electrical, masonry, remodels, demo, fencing, painting, intermediate plumbing, a lot of drywall of all types, and custom designs for household items such as cabinets, porches, decks, and more! This business is run by my dad, myself, my brothers, and 3 of my best friends. We work fast and accurately so you can hurry to enjoy your new home improvements/renovations! Clean up included, and WE meet YOU. Call for your free consultation day or night! We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

Some outdoor lighting fixtures are easy to install, like solar pathway lights that don’t need connecting to your electrical system. However, other types of outdoor lighting can be challenging to install, especially if it’s part of a larger electrical system. It’s best to work with a trained electrician for high-voltage outdoor lighting. You might also want to work with a landscaper for installing lighting in high or hard-to-reach areas.

LED light strips might fall off your walls if the walls weren’t clean before installation. Make sure you clean and dry the wall first to remove oil, dirt, and debris that can keep the adhesive strip from fully sticking to the surface. If you cleaned the area and the LED lights are still falling, try installing fixing clips to keep the lights in place.

The most common size of can light ranges from four to seven inches. The size that’s needed for your home depends on the area you’re looking to illuminate, the height of your ceiling, and the size of your wall.

You will likely need an electrical permit to install outdoor lighting, but it depends on where you live. Some municipalities don’t require a permit for electrical work, but you should call your building department or ask your outdoor lighting installer if a permit will be necessary. Your professional should pull the permits for you, if required, and close them out after the work is done. Either way, you will be responsible for the permit fee, which typically falls between $50 and $150.

Costs depend on fixture type, wiring complexity, and labor rates.
