"Good work in general; our basement no longer sees water for over 3 years now, which is the most important thing. But there were some real issues: The biggest issue is that USW did not adhere to local electrical codes, and did not arrange for a final inspection of the project. So we didn't find out that it wasn't to code until years later, and now it's a big hassle and minor cost to fix and get the permits. Ask your local gov yourself what you need to do for permits and inspections; don't rely on USW! USW said they would seal any foundation cracks found along the way; they didn't do this until I bugged the warranty dept about it (but they did do it eventually). USW sent someone out for the "annual checkup"... over 2 years after the install. It's a good thing they (eventually) did, because they discovered the backup battery wasn't charging. Now I know to check this stuff better myself. Prices also vary wildly and are kind of negotiable (I'd give more detail but I'm out of space)"

"The senior project specialist was Jimmy. He did a great job of keeping us informed at all stages of the project (interior drain tile installation). Nanod was the plumber who did the final installation of the sump pump set-up and discharge configuration. Nanod did an outstanding job on the route of the discharge piping , having assessed that the originally considered discharge configuration might have adversely affected our neighbor."

They looked at the project, one of the guys showed some concern (about what I don't know) He said he was going to make a phonecall, and when he came back from the truck he said that they couldn't do the job. "We had a small leak that only happened in severe rainstorms. Instead of diagnosing this problem the salesperson wa ted to sell us their complete system. They painted a picture of a poorly constructed basement with many problems. We resisted but finally agreed this was s mistake, because the only problem found after tearing up our basement was a dead sump pump and maybe extra weep holes could have been put in the crock. The original basement drainage system was correctly installed to code. Now our perfect basement floor has permanent scars and we are still fighting the concrete dust leftover from the project. The workers also damaged our vinyl siding and stained it with some type of solvent when cleaning areas that were marred during work. They are probably solve severe basement problems, but we were definitely “oversold”. We made a regrettable error in trusting their expertise."

"My basement had wall crack steps, horizontal cracks, bowing issues along with moisture issues. Water would come in the basement regularly. Everything was taken care of by RENEW about 6-7 years ago. They replaced some of the foundation bricks, installed a drainage system, placed reinforcement rods along the walls and installed a sump pump. RENEW also helped me with additional request as the project progressed (removing personal items, etc). On the exterior they added and pitched dirt along with placing decorative rocks. I’m writing this 6-7 years later so I’m sure I’ve left a few things out. Since having the work done, my basement has been dry. THERE IS NO WATER/MOISTURE PROBLEMS AT ALL! RENEW is a family business that takes pride in their work. They are dependable, personable, reasonable with cost and most of all knowledgeable. Most reviews are done relatively close to when the work is performed. My review is years later which should tell anyone reading this, they do excellent work at a reasonable price."
