"Used an oil based polish on the marble countertop without washing it thoroughly first - result a sticky tack counter top
Used something like pledge on the baseboards which stained the walls of the paint above the baseboards.
Did not completely dust and clean and left before their time was up.  I saw them leave as I came home, about 15 minutes early.
Was never sure how  much English they understood.  The owner assured me one of them spoke English well, but I believe her comprehension was not sufficient.
Bottom line - They didn't know how to clean properly.  A waste of money.

"I was impressed with how careful the cleaners were. They used corner guards and did not dirty or nick the walls. Everything was cleaned very thoroughly, and the light-colored family room carpet looks like new. We opted for the additional Teflon protection on the family room and stairs. The two brothers who provide this service are pleasant and know what they are doing. I am very pleased with the job they did.

"Went great - had 4 guys including a guy who really knew how to lay on the mud to fill the cracks.
They used drop cloths in all rooms.  I purchased the paint,  They did two coats in all rooms.
Neat - virtually no spillover to the colored walls.  They mesh reinforced all cracks, then mudded and then painted.
Six months later cracks still unnoticeable, ceiling look like painted yesterday.  No sore back for me.

"When I called the company they came out the same day.  After accessing the situation they moved all of the furniture and games from the affected room.  After removing the wet carpeting the crew washed and sanitized the floor and set huge fans around the room.  They came back a day later to check that everything was dry.  It was an excellent job and we were most relieved that we had no mold developing.  Hope we don't have anymore flooding but if we do we'd be sure to call "The Master Cats"."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

The best solution for mopping floors depends on the type of floor you have, but a good all-around or multi-purpose DIY floor cleaner is 2 cups of warm water, 5 to 10 drops of liquid dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. This is safe to use on tile, laminate, wood, polished concrete, vinyl, and more, as it’s relatively neutral and lacks caustic and abrasive chemicals that could be harmful to children and pets. You can also use a multi-purpose commercial cleaner, but make sure to follow the directions for safety.

Yes, but with caution. A floor grinder is intended to level and polish concrete, so it is a very powerful tool. To remove paint, the floor grinder should be set to 35 square feet per minute or less to minimize the pressure without the use of pocket weights. You might need to go over the surface two times to get any paint that has sunk into the concrete’s pores.

To properly maintain and care for hardwood floors without damaging the finish, establish a regular cleaning routine. Sweep with a broom or microfiber dust mop daily, or vacuum weekly, to remove dirt and debris that can scratch the surface; be sure to clean in tight corners and under furniture. For a deeper clean, use a damp mop with a cleaner specifically designed for hardwood floors, but avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive water, as this can damage the wood. You can further protect your floors by placing mats at entryways to catch dirt and moisture and putting felt pads under furniture legs to prevent scratches. For long-term care, refinish the floors as needed to keep them looking their best.

Professionals use various tools and cleaning solutions based on the type of floor they’re cleaning. They often use industrial steam cleaners to pull debris out of the carpet. For localized stains, they may use a commercial cleaner or a mixture of water, vinegar, and dish soap. For tile, they’ll typically use dish soap and hot water, plus a mixture of baking soda and hot water for the grout. For cleaning wood floors, they might use a low-heat steamer, a mop with an oil wood floor cleaner, or a mixture of hot water, vinegar, and lemon juice.

Like any other type of flooring, you will need to keep up with regular maintenance on your epoxy floors to keep them in the best shape possible; however, it is not like hardwood floors inside a house, which require special care and more consistent maintenance.

Just make sure you use the right cleaning tools and solutions. Avoid using harsh tools like scrub brushes or hard-bristled brooms. You should also skip cleaners that are highly acidic, including white vinegar.
