"On time for estimate and for the job. Completed the entire job as scheduled. Removed 3 ash, 2 locust and 1 maple tree. Three were large and next to the fence. The work was done carefully, safely and efficiently without error or damage. Their knowledge of trees, the best approach for dropping and removing trees and how long it will take is very good. Dan is likable, trustworthy and follows through on what he promises. Immediate and certain recommendation without hesitation."

"I had 4 overgrown shrubs removed and 4 shrubs trimmed and am very happy with the work provided. You wouldn't even know there were 4 shrubs there, the clean up was very professional. I'm hiring GV to come back next week to remove an old dead pine tree. Emmanuel stayed in communication with me, which was very helpful."

"I had two gentlemen from Daniel's Landscaping Service come out to repair some damaged drywall, and I’m very pleased with the entire experience. They completed the work promptly and efficiently, and the quality of the finished product was excellent. The pricing was also very reasonable for the level of workmanship provided. They were professional, easy to work with, and clearly took pride in their work. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends, and I won’t hesitate to use their services again in the future if I need similar work done. Thank you, guys!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Household products such as paints, cleaners, oils, and batteries are considered hazardous and should not be disposed of with regular household waste. Instead, look for local household hazardous waste collection facilities where you can safely dispose of these items without harming the environment or human health.

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.

Chlorine has a shelf life of between six months and several years, depending on its type and formulation. Liquid chlorine can often lose its effectiveness in just a few weeks. Pool owners can find themselves with overstock that they need to get rid of. The best way to dispose of excess chlorine is to take it to a hazardous waste collection site and let the pros handle it.

Lead removal is crucial in older homes to eliminate risks of lead poisoning, which can severely affect health, particularly in children, by impacting development and cognitive functions.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), hazardous waste is generally classified into four main categories:

1. Characteristic Wastes: These exhibit at least one of four hazardous traits: ignitability (flammable, like gasoline), corrosivity (can rust or decompose materials, like car batteries), reactivity (unstable and can explode, like aerosol cans), or toxicity (harmful when ingested, like lead-based paint).

2. Listed Wastes: These are specific wastes from manufacturing and industrial processes that the EPA has officially designated as hazardous. They include byproducts from processes that use solvents, pesticides, and other chemicals.

3. Universal Wastes: These are commonly generated hazardous items that are subject to streamlined regulations. Examples include batteries, pesticides, mercury-containing equipment (e.g., bulbs), and some lamps.

4. Mixed Wastes: This category includes waste that contains both hazardous and radioactive components, making it subject to regulation by both the EPA and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
