Excellent experience with family operated Heritage Hardwood Floor! From initial quote to start of project, timing was good. We had water damage on our oak floors and it was expertly mitigated, patched, sanded, stained and finished. The floor looks brand new, no trace of the damage. Jerry, TJ and Becky were diligent and detailed in all aspects of the project. They were also very neat and respectful of my home, which I appreciate. I would highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Heritage Hardwood Floor Company in Dousman, WI. From the initial estimate visit to the time they completed my project they were efficient, professional, clean, and easy to work with. They made appropriate recommendations, provided a fair and reasonable contract proposal, and worked around my difficult schedule. I could immediately tell they took pride in their work, and they should, it is wonderful! Peggy, Jerry and TJ are talented, and they were fun to work with during my project.

heritage was prompt, and professional. Services were performed In a timely fashion and best of all, that floor look fabulous. There was not too much dust, which was a concern of mine.

They completed the work. It was A until the final result which made it an F. We were very satisfied with the work initially. The people doing the job were nice and professional. What they have refinished has become lighter and lighter and lighter and is a total mismatch to all the wood around it and adjacent to it. I certainly expected some variations dealing with wood, but nothing like this. We did not select this finish, it was what they chose. I have called repeatedly and I get an answering machine with no return call. A couple weeks ago I talked to the woman who gave me an estimate about it, but have received no resolution.

Called a few times to ask if there was any product WE could apply to darken the wood. No response.  Sent pictures, NO RESPONSE.  The wood now looks blond.  We actually put french doors up between the two rooms because it was such a mismatch. So we're out another thousand. So much for customer service.

They were very easy to work with. They were right on with the price estimate they gave. They were also finished the work on time. They had system to keep the excess dust from getting into the house.

My experience with Heritage started and ended great, and with no "bumps" in between. It started with a call to schedule an estimate. Peggy returned my call promptly and set an appointment for the estimate. She arrived as scheduled, inspected the required work, and gave us an estimate on-the-spot. The price was very competitive with other estimates we had. Two weeks later we called back to schedule the work. Two days before the work was scheduled we received a reminder call from Peggy that they would be out at 8am to start the work. They arrived on time, as scheduled, and outlined all of the work they would be doing and a time-line for completion. The work was completed in 3 days, as expected and on time. We returned home after the floor had dried. It looked beautiful but had a couple of areas where we felt the finish was not quite right. We called Peggy to ask her opinion. Without question or complaint, and without even looking at the floor, she scheduled to have her team out the next day to buff the floor and apply one more finish coat. They arrived as scheduled and I went to work. When I returned that evening everything was perfect. Peggy scheduled an appointment for the following week to review the care of the floor and to collect payment. I forgot to mention: They do not ask for a downpayment or any money in advance. They only expect payment when the work is complete and the homeowner is satisfied. I couldn't be more satisfied with the work they did and the professionalism they displayed. We were also so surprised that there was little to no dust in the house from the floor sanding. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommended them to my friends and family.

I really liked them - they did a great job on the floor. They were one company that was actually willing to come out and do just one room.

Heritage matched the stain color and finish of the other hardwood in our home almost perfectly. They used a nice matte varnish and it's great on bare feet. They have the modern ''no dust'' equipment and the refinishing process was done within two days. They even left a new mop with cleaning product as well as a detailed ''how to care for'' sheet. I cannot comment on punctuality/professionalism, as my contractor dealt with Heritage.

VERY PROFESSIONAL. DID HAVE A DELAY DUE TO ILLNESS OF INSTALLER, BUT THE QUALITY OF THE WORK AND PRICE WERE EXCELLENT.

INITIAL ON-SITE ESTIMATE DONE BY OWNER - PEGGY MAYER. KEPT APPOINTMENT; WAS PROFESSIONAL IN MANNER. BUT INSTALLER BROUGHT YOUNG SON TO THE JOB, ALLOWED HIM TO ROAM UNSUPERVISED THROUGHOUT OUR HOUSE. FINAL FINISH IS NOTICEABLY UNEVEN TO ALL WHO SEE IT; HAD TO REQUEST LARGE KNOT HOLES BE FILLED TWICE; KNOTS FILLED WITH BLACK PUTTY - NOT CLEAR EPOXY AS REQUESTED; IMPROPER THRESHOLD INSTALL KEPT DOOR FROM CLOSING AND HAD TO BE TORN OUT AND REDONE. LETTER OF DISSATISFACTION NOT RESPONDED TO BY COMPANY OWNER.
