"This is my first time ever hiring a maid service and I couldn't be more thrilled! I found Maids R Us on Angi's site and am so happy I did! The owner, Edith, reached out to me immediately and we scheduled a walk through for a quote the very next day. Today was my first cleaning and I am beyond pleased! Highly recommend!!"

"Gleaming Cleaning was great! Anton’s communication was awesome. I had a tight window to get this done and I was not able to give too much notice and he was able to fit me in. They came out promptly to provide an estimate and outside of normal business hours which I really needed. A reasonable quote was provided within a few hours. I asked for an add on service and was accommodated. They did a fantastic job and would definitely recommend to anyone. Thanks guys!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, a dirty oven can affect its temperature accuracy and distribution. Food debris, spills, and built-up grease on the oven walls and racks can disrupt the heat flow, causing uneven heating and potential temperature fluctuations. This can result in undercooked or overcooked dishes. Over time, a dirty oven can malfunction or even cease working. Pick up any large pieces that may have fallen off a tray (like French fries), prevent anything burning on the element, and run cleaning cycles on a regular basis.

Yes. While you can clean every room in your home with vinegar and baking soda, you should not use them on marble floors. Vinegar is too acidic, and baking soda is too alkaline; both of them can lead to etching on your marble. A pH-neutral cleaner is your best bet to clean marble floors.

To keep small appliances in good working order, clean them regularly, follow the manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines, inspect connections for wear, and avoid overloading circuits.

If you don’t want to use dishwasher pods, you can use liquid or powder dishwasher detergent or dishwasher tablets. Alternatively, you can make a DIY dish detergent by putting two or three drops of liquid dishwashing soap in the dispenser and filling the rest with baking soda. You should never use laundry detergent, household all-purpose cleaners, or a full dispenser of liquid dish detergent.

Your schedule for deep cleaning will depend on how often you clean regularly and how dirty your home gets. If you clean weekly and keep things tidy, you may only need to deep clean once a year. But if you don’t keep up with regular cleaning or have pets that drag in mud and shed all over the house, you might need deep cleaning two or three times a year.
