"When Mary Poppins needed a Chimney sweep she called her guy. When I needed one I called Chimney Sweep Masterâ s, Jonathan! He was fast to respond, schedule and show up for the job. To avoid being late by way of an employee that was understandably behind do to a rain storm he showed up hisself! He did an inspection, a sweep and a sprucing up of the fire place with a fresh coat of paint all in two hours!!! He even checked my drier vents as he is â full serviceâ !!!! And just like thatâ ¦. I am ready for winter!!"
"The employee who came was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Made the experience easy and he took the time to explain the needs of my chimney. Though I had planned for only a sweep, it became a larger job as we had issues we were unaware of, cracks, damage, and major creosote build up. Our own fault as this chimney hasn't ever had service done the whole 15 years we've lived here. But now we are all set and hopefully only need annual sweeping for years to come."
I have been in buisness for about 8+years and none of my clients have ever been disappointed in the work my team and I have done for them. We take pride in the work we do and we are always up for a challenge. We specialize in heavy move out cleans, office cleaning, commercial building cleaning, janitorial services and much more.
"It went very well. Our service tech was Darrell and he was polite, knowledgable and patient. We showed up a few minutes late for our appointment as I hit traffic, and he called to let us know he had arrived and let us know he would get started with inspecting the outside until we arrived. I originally called on this company due to the good reviews on Angie's list, and to take advantage of the $99 special. When I was on the phone with the booking person she made sure I knew that the $99 was for a lined chimney and if it turned out that our new place had no liner it would be an additional $50. It was good to have this info up front so we didn't feel like it was sprung on us after they arrived. With tax it came to $164 plus change. The whole process was a good experience. After the cleaning Darrell was very careful to make sure the insert was straight and that every speck of dust was cleaned up. He wore shoe covers in the house and was polite, respectful of our furnishings and friendly to the kids when they came through. We will definitely call them again when we need more work done."
"Overall I would recommend ACT air duct cleaning. I live in a 1913 colonial and I doubt this has ever been done in this house. I did some research on the EPAs website on this service and read a lot about it beforehand. The team arrived on time and answered all of my questions before they got started. I was glad I educated myself a little bit beforehand so that I knew what to expect and what questions to ask. The process and tools ACT uses to do their job is interesting and seems very thorough. When reading their website I didn't understand that they were going to cut a hole in one of my air ducts. My husband would have had a fit if they'd done that, so I told them they would have to come up with a work around for that. They talked with Jared (owner) and then figured out a work around. The team was very polite and kept me informed of the process. I will say that there is some dust associated with this process. Meaning that you can get some "blowback" from some of the vents. They went around with a vacume and cleaned up any mess they found from "blowback". The team cleaned up very well and left my house as they found it. I have noticed a big difference with the decrease in dust in my house since this service has been performed. I'm glad I did this. I got the Angie's list deal on this service so I thought it was a really good deal.
"I called 4 other companies to do cleaning of chimney and duct from my pellet stove. All the others said they did not do or had stopped doing pelllet stoves as they were too complex. ChimCare responded promptly, quoted a price, and came out on a Saturday (3 days after I had called). They very professional and did a great joband made some suggestions for additional work needed but no pressure to do it at that visit. I was very impressed and will use them to do the aditional work when i am ready."

Pricing a fire-damaged house is tricky, and it’s best to involve some professionals. First, get a comprehensive repair estimate from a fire damage restoration expert. Next, have a real estate agent get you an as-repaired value for the home, which represents what the house would be worth if fully repaired. Subtract the repair estimate from the as-repaired value to get the as-is value.
