"We recently got service done at our home, and it was great having Kaleb and Rob work on the electrical panel upgrade, new outlets, and repairs around the house. The work was well done and we can sleep peacefully knowing that our electrical is safe at home, bringing several things back into code compliance, alongside a new Span smart panel! We enjoy being able to see the electrical usage per circuit, and we were able to make some changes to reduce our electrical usage after seeing the statistics! Thank you As You Wish!"

"No complaints. The Technician was professional and completed the tasks in a professional manner. I used an Angies list coupon for one of the jobs and it was a fair price. The other TV was a little more. I used the Angies list service because I wanted to support local business people. I was surprised to find out the Tech was an independent contractor provided by a California company. A month or so later I needed another TV mounted. In addition to Hellotech I looked into another internet company that begins with "A" that provides local contractors for home repairs. The other service was quite a bit cheaper ($118) and the repair work was comparable. If I can't avoid national internet companies I might as well go for the cheapest."

"It went fine initially - great advice on camera location and possible setup options, and timely and professional installation of the system.  When trying to set up the wifi camera access there were some technical difficulties with our network setup that led Jimmie to have to come back a couple times to try out different wireless adapters.  It finally got set up and was working great, but after a few weeks the remote viewing stopped working.  I couldn't tell if this was because we had made some changes to our network to improve wireless signal in the house, or if it was because my ISP (Frontier) changed the IP address of my home (which it did since the installation happened).  I tried multiple times to get assistance to correct the problem (mainly extensive research for this on my own since I couldn't get much help from Jimmie) but I have been unable to get the issue fixed, and Jimmie stopped returning my emails.  So I am in the process of finding "real" networking support to come out to correct the problem and get the setup working seamlessly.  

So it's great if you have an easy home network set up and your Internet Service Provider doesn't periodically change your IP address (like Frontier FIOS does), and you don't need any more sophisticated IT/networking support.  But be wary if you think you have anything complicated in your network setup (like multiple routers or multiple wireless access points or dynamic IP addresses), or if you think you may need some follow-up networking support.  Make sure you understand all of the details behind how everything is set up (static IP addresses, DNS servers, port forwarding info, etc), because you will have a tough time getting any follow-up support from Freedom Systems after the installation is complete, and if anything breaks you will have to pay to have a networking expert come out to fix things.

Project goal: Replace all old knob and tube wires/aluminum wires

Challenge: house was partial updated by prior owner, with several hidden junction boxes (aka cluster f*$k mess)

Derek was excellent at tracking down the mess left by the prior owner and fixing the wiring at a reasonable price. Derek came by on a Saturday to fix one problem but as with any home project, we found other items that needed to be corrected. Turn into a slightly bigger project, but Derek fit the work into his schedule, completed the work over two weekends.

I plan to use Derek for all my future electrical needs.

"Wow, I spoke to representative who did not try to sell me anything just listened to what i wanted then gave me the best deal.
The equipment showed up in a cool box and is was simple to instal.  Literally, I just plugged in the gateway to a wall outlet, peeled off the adhesive and stuck the sensors on my doors and windows called for activation and it was done.   Now I can control my home from my cell phone.  Its super cool and I plan to add other devices like remote control lighting and a video camera.  Truly am pleased to say the least.  I always get nervous to order over the phone, but Skycover is the greatest.  I am a happy camper!"
