Sears Appliance Repair

Despite payment for part, the part was back-ordered according to Sears and no ETA. A month and two appointments went bye. When the part finally arrived, one week later, I had a repair appointment. A small wait for appointment but a job well done.

First appointment was cancelled just a an hour before scheduled. Also was pressured to purchase home warranty before service call & mis-informed about total cost of coverage. They were not clear about monthly cost & now I will be calling back to cancel $50 a month charge. Repair person was knowledgeable and professional. Communication with call center was lacking.

Overall, a horrible experience. I've called and scheduled a repair. Nobody showed up. No calls and no e-mails. When I called back, I was told that technician had truck trouble, and that somebody will call me in a few hours to reschedule. A day passed, nobody called. The experience was HORRIBLE. Huge appt spans requiring wasted vacation time, techs who broke more parts and left a mess, follow up visits by techs who did not bring the correct parts, follow up visit where tech completely missed the huge appt window, many hours wasted on phone trying to get this mess straightened out, no response to multiple emails to corporate. I would NEVER hire them again.
