"Rick's crew did a marvelous job.  After having four other companies come out and give us bids on fixing our "lagoon" in the backyard, Four Aces came up with the most logical, simplest solution for the best price.  Their solution was to install four actual drains in the yard and connect them with the drainage pipe leading to the storm sewer. It was a no brainer.  They were easy to schedule and they completed the work in half the time we expected it to take.  They were even considerate enough to work the loud stuff around my baby's nap schedule.  They had warned us that they were probably not going to be able to completely restore the lawn and landscaping, but after they were done...it looked better than before.  (I'm pretty sure someone weeded a little.)  This was still a big household project for a family on a budget, but we were so excited to see that the water did in fact drain down after the first big rainstorm.  Now every time it rains, I truly enjoy going into the backyard and seeing that the "lagoon" is gone.  They completely solved our issue."

"I initially contacted Erik of Dirt Pros in early July and he arrived when he said he would for the estimate. The estimate sounded good so I had Erik email the proposal for signature. He said it would be about 3 weeks and that was fine with us. Erik came yesterday 7/30 and delivered the topsoil and created the bed with mounds. I was not home, but left a copy of the architect's rendering. A couple of tweaks were needed, so I emailed Erik and he came out today and made the corrections. An excellent experience from start to finish.

"Right before Thanksgiving we detected a leak from our upstairs toilet between our floors; and our dishwasher died. I contacted AWP through their web site; the response and scheduling were prompt. Vlad showed up on time, listened, understood the issue, explained what he was going to do then carefully fixed it. Later that day, the Home Depot crew came in to install our new dishwasher and could not complete the job. Vlad was back later that day - on a Friday - and took charge.  Getting a quote for the job was very straight-forward with JM Plumbing & Mechanical.  I sent a message to JM Plumbing and Mechanical through Angie's List message feature.  I described the 3 problems and received a prompt response with a quote of $350.  Jerry and TJ arrived ahead of the scheduled time, and got right down to business.  They let me know the sequence they would be working on the issues and immediately shut off the water and got to work.  After the work started, I mentioned another problem with the water running in the toilet and Jerry said he would look at that as well.  They were prepared with the parts they needed for the initial repair requests, but needed additional parts for the toilet repair so went to Home Depot to get those and then returned and completed the shower handle, toilet repair, and outside faucet repair very quickly.  Then TJ got under the house, found the leaky pipe and caulked that.  That job alone was a big relief to get taken care of.  Considering the crawlspace under this house, I had no idea how much something like this would cost to have fixed, but it was completed by TJ like it was no big deal.  Before leaving, two more issues came up unrelated to my original request.  Jerry was very sincere in offering to check those out as well and did so in a matter of minutes.  I could not be more satisfied with the value I received for $350 and would definitely use this company again.
