Vortex Plumbing did a great job! It was quite an extensive process. It takes days to re-pipe a whole house and I was expecting to be without running water for a few of those. Baldeep did his best to make our inconvenience as little as possible. He and his crew did as much preparation as possible and only had to turn off our water for about 3 hours during the whole process. Vortex Plumbing is a professional and honest company and I would use them again in the future.

We got our working tank water heater replaced, it was 14 years old so about end of life. Due to COVID they asked for photos via text message, gave quote for exact product, suggested that expansion tank is on wrong side (we never knew), came on time, got the products, fixed the expansion tank and were done in less than 2 hours. Asked to clear the garage, maintained social distance, job perfectly done.

We had a clogged kitchen sink that we could not figure out how to fix on our own. I called Vortex in the afternoon and they came just a few hours later. The problem was quickly diagnosed and he was able to snake the drain and unclog it. Price was very reasonable. We also appreciated that he provided some insight into why the drain was clogging and helped us identify a longer term solution that would fix the problem.

My water heater had begun slowly leaking and I called Vortex needing a semi-emergency replacement done. They were able to assess the model required (it was not a basic model) over the phone and made the extra effort to get a replacement ordered and ready by the next day. Everyone was professional, friendly and helped me understand the work being done. Overall I am super satisfied and will be making Vortex my first call for plumbing needs in the future.

Toilet installed crooked and had a leak at the tank. Could have spent 5 more minutes in my house to ensure "quality work", but was in a hurry to leave.

It was difficult to diagnose, but these folks who came did a great job. They were thoughtful, respectful, and knowledgeable about what to do. They considered different options to save me money. They accomplished what needed to be done quickly. They snaked the pipes first from an access in the basement, which did not work; then looked with a camera. Found one blockage; dug down 5 feet outside the house; installed some pvc pipes there to replace old concrete, and installed a clean-out there above ground so the basement would not flood again; then from there flushed the sewer with a power washer which released the flow, but it's expected to be happening again. I appreciated their professional service, and although it was expensive, I know they tried their best to do a good job and save me money as best they could.

I called at 1:15 pm and plumber arrived 2:50 pm and project was completed at 3:25 pm. Prompt, courteous, and good work. I would recommend this company to anyone. Very pleased.

Worked with Deep to schedule the service. I have used Vortex to replace my sink faucet. Brian came out and replaced the garbage disposal. I purchased the special they had for installing and providing the garbage disposal. Brian did a great job.

James and Deep did a great job. They were friendly, professional, thorough and super easy to work with. We're really happy with the work they did and how smoothly it all went. It was a pleasure working with them and I'll definitely give them my first call the next time I have a plumbing job.

Unfortunately, our roommate had lost part of the toilet paper holder roll down the toilet, we didn't want to damage the toilet, or pipes by trying to remove it on our own. We contacted Vortex on Christmas Day and they were responsive and said they could would contact us the next morning to schedule. After having to contact them on our own at 10am, we were told they would show up 2-3pm, that came and went and then we were told 4, then 4:30 and they showed up around 5. Sadly, this was an entire day of work missed because of a lack of communication. While I am very grateful they fit us in last minute, there were no updates on ETA. Upon arrival, they were very concerned with the 'age' of the toilet, probably being the original from the 60's. They had removed the toilet and attempted to look into the toilet with their scope, but found no item. We just wanted piece of mind that the metal piece lost was not lodged down the line under the house. When trying to use the scope on the outgoing pipe, their scope was too large and they could see nothing. The entire reason we had called someone out was to inspect the pipes, which they could not do at all. I understand all houses are different, but there should be additional plans to be made for such circumstances. There are a lot of older houses in the PNW, with most of the original structures still in place. Whenever we asked any questions, the answers were met with a shrug or a non-answer. We figured since we had a plumber coming out we would just have them install a new toilet, and they did that rather quickly, and with no issues. Unfortunately, with the lack of communication before and during the visit, we will not be using Vortex again.

Went very well. I have PVC Plumbing and technician was careful to keep me informed of the risks of working on PVC fixtures before commencing work. Was very professional and careful.

Vortex did a fantastic job in less-than-ideal circumstances (IKEA furniture, need I say more)? They ended doing more work than expected, and without the proper parts, and made it all work. I was really pleased with the end result, and would definitely hire them again.

Good experience until I realized I got the wrong product. I contacted them about an ad listed here. He came out quickly and even on a weekend. After he left I realized I got the wrong (smaller and less expensive) unit. I reached out multiple times attempting to get it replaced with the size I paid for and wanted, but never responded.
