"Groundworks were contracted to encapsulate the crawl space, with a dehumidifier, intellijacks & sump pump. The inspector showed us pictures & videos of what the work would look like on completion, & explained how each solution would be installed. They tried to charge me more for vent covers until I showed them the contract covering this part. The foreman told me there was a reset button for the sump pump to be installed on an exterior wall, but they did not install it, instead said they would put in a service order. I haven’t heard anything about this issue yet. When they installed the moister barrier, they excluded the cement pads I was told it cost extra to have them covered. When I signed the contract, I was never told there would be extra charges for vent covers or cement pads to be covered. The contract I signed covered a complete encapsulation, but this is not what I got. This is a bait & switch. I would not recommend Groundworks."

Our major repairs took months because the original builder in the 1950's did not put in appropriate footers and a portion of our house began to sink. MTU also completely gutted a basement room that was compromised, jack hammered the concrete out, installed new metal ceiling beams, posts, dug new footers, metal mesh on the floor, poured and leveled the brand new floor. The hardest working real men I have seen in decades and no complaining what soever.
