Perma-Dry Waterproofing & Drainage, Inc.I had a LOT of questions and Ryan, the owner, responded quickly to each email. The work crew were all polite, quiet, and all-around good people. The price was reasonable compared to comps, and the job was finished when they said it would be. We've had some torrential rains since and not a drop has gotten into my basement!- Jessica W.

Wu ConstructionOur experience with Wu Construction was awesome. We had water coming into our basement, gave them a call, and from consultation through installation, they were one of the most courteous and professional contractors we've dealt with. Their work is quality, prices competitive, and communication was excellent. Would recommend them to anyone with water issues.- Sean E.

Perma-Dry Waterproofing & Drainage, Inc.Don't hire anyone else. If you're looking for a company run by someone who understands what customer service looks like, call Perma-Dry. 4 years ago we worked with Perma-Dry to install an internal basement footing drain system - they were prompt, responsive, and did a great job. We've had zero issues. We recently discovered an issue with an old external drainage system (not installed by Perma-Dry) which backed up during a thunderstorm. When I discovered the issue, I called Ryan (owner) to get some help; he showed up at 9am on a Saturday (his day off) and spent 5 hours with me troubleshooting the issue and coming up with a temporary fix until he could get a crew out to install a permanent fix. He not only was a huge help, but his attitude was incredible - he was actually having fun working on his day off. In the 12 years I've owned my house, I've worked with dozens of contractors and never had an experience like that. True customer service is a lost art, Ryan and his team have shown us twice that they understand how to take care of customers and care enough to do the right thing.- Kyle A.

Andy Construction LLCI did not end up using Andy for reasons outside of him but he would be the first person that I would use and call in the future.- Jennifer H.

Andy Construction LLCWe got a bid from Andy Construction for water-issues in our crawlspace. Of the companies that I talked to about this issue - I thought Andy provided the most objective recommendation (though it costed lesser). Other companies were recommending a sump pump. Andy recommended addressing the source of the water (downspout drainage issue). We haven't yet gotten the work completed, but would recommend Andy Construction based on the bidding process.- Uday B.

Andy Construction LLCI have a 1906 cottage in N Seattle, with an old porous foundation. Water came into the basement for the first time in 20 years. Another contractor bid the job at $12,000 after 3 site visits and almost a month. Andy came out to the house the same day I talked to him, and estimated the same job at half that price. He followed up with questions, asked about making another visit, came out again and saw that the drainpipe was disconnected at the top of the area being flooded. 75% of the roof's water was pooling against the house. He found a ladder and fixed it and isn't charging me a dime. So, no French drain, no Delta drain, no foundation treatment, no 50' of trenching, no $$$. Andy was timely, reliable, did what he said, and knows his stuff. He was a great communicator, and I feel so so lucky to have found him.- Karen C.

Seattle Superior WaterproofingGalen is SUPER helpful! While unfortunately it was not work that his company could do because of how our house is structured, he took the time to evaluate what the cause of the leak was and whether or not it was foundation-issues or something else. Very thorough and if we do need something more appropriate for his company will definitely call again.- Elizabeth V L.

Spartan Services IncThe service was excellent. Enrique came in less than 24 hours from our call and about 24 hours before he was scheduled. We showed him the problem and he promptly fixed it. He sent a video to the mitigator who was then able to come out and assess other damage. He also pressure tested the pipe afterwards to demonstrate that the fix was definite. Thank you Enrique!- Thomas F.

Mimos Remodeling LLCAllan did a kitchen remodel for us in our condo. He demo'd our old kitchen, and installed new vinyl flooring, cabinets, and countertops. A few highlights: 1) From the initial call, Allan was quick to respond with pricing, contract, scope of work, etc. We were very happy with how professional and reliable he was throughout the full project - scoping the work, assisting with material selection, to the actual remodel. 2) While onsite, I asked Allan to make other modifications to our condo that were out of scope. Allan was fair and reasonable, and we were quickly able to agree on a price for the additional work. Allan did not nickel and dime on every little adjustment, and it greatly improved the overall experience of working with Allan. 3) Allan is very customer focused. He gave insights and recommendations into materials, design choices, and solutions - and it was very helpful to have a trusted, professional opinion on different matters. He guided us with recommendations on flooring, layout changes, etc that was very helpful, and was clear in communicating the options without making me feel like he was trying to up-sell more work. I felt that Allan was truly wanting to help us create the kitchen we wanted and not pushing his own agenda. It was super helpful to have him propose different options as we weighed different factors (budget, utility, decor, etc) to make our selections. 4) The quality of work was excellent. Allan and his team are committed to doing a good job. When we pointed out areas that we were concerned about or anxious with, Allan made sure to always make any adjustments we asked for and made sure it was just to our liking. At the end of the day, we are very happy with how the project turned out. Our new kitchen looks amazing, and we would absolutely work with Allan and Mimos Remodeling again on future projects. Thank you Allan!- Mads P.

General contractor 30 years experience, building. No job to small! If you can dream it we can build it.
Recent Review:
Neat and tidy with attention to details UNTIL they went CRAZY. Things got rocky when their roofing sub was a no show and we had three inches of rain on our unprotected structure that resulted in mold starting to grow. In the end, walls were not straight, they denied a final punch walk, argued about repairs for damages that they caused, never addressed damages they admitted to causing, threatened leans and legal action prior to completionof terms within their contract, didn't comply with their own poorly written contract, would show up unannounced to demand payments, and ranted in front of our children about their grievances. It was also odd that they required a large sum of money up front and were not at all professional near the end of the project. They also were not very knowledgeable about permitting and when to call for inspections. Several inspections were missed and I ended up managing that entire process. It was a very sad end to a project that could have gone so well. We are VERY glad that we only hired them to construct the foundation and structural framing. Beware. You may want to look elsewhere.

What did we not need...? They quickly and efficiently replaced everything in our crawlspace... insulation, missing screens, open external access, etc. And they installed a barrier beneath a bay window that had allowed animal access to the crawlspace ever since the home was built in the 80s. Very professional and friendly. I highly recommend them!

Working with Carlisle Classic Homes was a very good thing ! I spent 2 years researching builders and would work with them all over again. Working with our Project Superintendent Andy Horst was very positive in every way , he was a joy to be around ! We miss him already ! Alex Adolfi , our Project Manager was also very easy to work with. They both showed us respect , transparency , and listened to us every step of the way. They were honest and showed us their integrity. What at first seemed like an overwhelming project , turned into our home coming out and finishing just as we wanted. There were many conversations where we felt listened to as we continued to design and make our house just the way we wanted it. All the subs and workers who came on the job site were also respectful and kind . The Carlisle employees are all such nice people we enjoyed the process very much . If anything needed attention, they were quick to remedy any outstanding issues, and we feel like we are in good hands should anything arise . They take excellent care of their clients , and are very responsive . The work done on our home is first class and no corners were ever cut . Now we have new friends and we are very proud of our new home . Thanks Carlisle Classic Homes !

Recent Review:
In February, we had the siding replaced on our house. When they got to the wall outside the master bathroom shower, they found catastrophic rot in the framing. The previous owners had remodeled the bathroom almost 10 years ago and apparently the contractor made some mistakes that caused the shower pan to leak slowly into the framing and insulation. Multiple contractors told us that the only solution was to completely destroy and rebuild the shower from scratch. We hired C and S based on favorable reviews and their ability to handle all aspects of the work, including the structural repairs. The work began on the 18th of March and finished the 3d of April. About week of delay were attributable to lead time to order a custom Corian shower pan. The granite tiles used in the original shower were no longer available and we found 79 of them on closeout so we changed the design to use lighter colored tiles above and below a band of the original tiles. I would not wish this on anyone but our contractor, C and S construction was a gem, a total pro. Casey, the general contractor was on the job every day that work was being done, except during the tile work. The craftsman he hired for that work was meticulous and produced a beautiful result.
