Dave Bachman LLC

I've known and used Dave for years as my "go to" guy for all things plumbing and HVAC. Dave is very personable and a great conversationalist, as well as being a great mechanic. He is also very knowledgeable about American products...Delta, American Standard, etc. A great worker and a great value.

Dave is  the most pleasant, honest, straight forward and fairly priced contractor you will ever to be fortunate enough to employ. The job went excatly as he had envisioned it, and all of the work was done in one day, inlcuding a spotless clean up. The location of, and the opening of the hole in the kitchen side of the wall, was a huge project for one person to undertake. Not only did the location of the hole have to be precisely determined, he also had two layers of wire enforced plaster to remove (my home is around 100 years old). He located the opening perfectly, tapped into the existing heating duct that was shut off and serving no purpose at all, and raised the temperature in the kitchen by three degrees. Prior to this modification, there was only one tiny heat register in the entire kitchen, and during the Winter months it was uncomfortably cold in there, lagging behind the remaining rooms on the first floor by 3-4 degres. I measured the temperature in all three rooms this morning after the heater had been running for two hours, and there was only 1 degree difference. The modification made a tremendous difference, I did not need the thermometer to know that the warmth was now equally spread all throughout the first floor. Now, I will save money by not having to run a space heater in the kitchen on cold days. A brilliant idea, implemented with precise craftsmanship. I can not recommend any plumber I have previously employed with greater enthusiasm.The price was extremely reasonable considering the time involved and the high quality materials he supplied. I provided only the faucet assembly, nothing else. The work areas were left as if he was never there. This gentleman deserves a place of honor in your "Page Of Happiness". I would never, ever consider using anyone else for my plumbing and heating needs.

Dave is the greatest. Always on time. Friendly and quick at his work.
He knows his plumbing and he knows his products. He recommended a Delta faucet to replace the Kohler that wasn't working.
The Delta works better and was cheaper and his recommendation was spot on.
Twice he obtained parts for me. The pump in the laundry room he picked up and installed, does a better job than the previous.
Also got .me an insinkerator at a better price than I could have gotten from Home Depot or Lowes.
All of his installs are guaranteed, and all installs he did foe me are 1st class and to code where applicable, and working wonderfully.
I don't think you can find a better residential plumber than Dave Bachman. Friendly, great communicator, great clean up and tutorial on what to do going forward to keep water flowing and going.
Dave is out of Glenside, I am in Philadelphia, and he came right over and on time and ready to work.
Give Him a try and I don't think you will regret it.

Dave came promptly when promised. Very pleasant and congenial. Went right to work in the basement. He did an excellent job, informing me what he was doing and making sure it was done right. He put down a drop cloth from the front door to the basement so as not to dirty our carpets. He is very knowledgeable and very fairly priced.
I would definitely recommend him to any one that needed a plumber. Exceptional service for a very fair price. A+++

Finally a plumber to use here in Elkins Park. I've been burned now by both other local large plumbers. Dave responded right away, and fixed the problem (drain) for a great price. Made some recommendations on venting that I could do myself.

This is the second time I have used Dave. I called him on Easter Sunday because water was leaking at a worrisome rate from somewhere underneath my toilet tank. I am disabled, and could not reach the water shut off valve to the toilet. Dave actually called me back within in an hour, and told me to call him back if I could not find anyone to shut the valve off. That, in my opinion, is service above and beyond the call of duty. He started his day extra early that next day, and was here at 7:15 A.M. The repairs were completed within 45 minutes, using high quality and quot;Fluidmasterand quot; parts. They left the work area completely dried out and cleaner than when they found it. Dave is honest, extremely fair, a pleasure to deal with, and most importantly in a service professional, an individual you can absolutely rely upon. An and quot;A+and quot; in all aspects.

Excellent! Dave completed the work for the water heater (and other services) in one day. Dave was recommended by my realtor and I have used him ever since. He's done my water heater (~600), a new sump pump (~1000, including a new line to the street), a new sewer trap (can't remember - somewhere around 50), and he's cleaned out the laundry drainage (again less than 50). I highly recommend his work - he is knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, prompt, and his prices are fair.

Absolutely perfectly. I was washing dishes one night and noticed water running all over the floor. The sink trap had busted, and water was pouring out the bottom of it every time I ran the faucet. I had never used nor met Dave before in my life before I called him. I called him around 5 PM the day the leak began, and he returned my call about 2 hours later. He said he would be over the next day between 7:30 and 7:45 AM. At 7:40 AM the next day he was knocking at my door ready to do the job. The work was done in a very professional way, it is very evident he takes enormous pride in his work. The work area was left spotless. His price was extremely reasonable, considering the amount of time and material he invested in it. I could not be more satisifed with end result. In fact, I am having him return in the Spring to renew the same set of pipes under my bathroom lavatory as they are starting to show the same signs of corrosion the pipes under the kitchen sink did. I want to avoid gallons of H20 pouring down from a broken lavatory trap and ruining my freshly painted kitchen ceiling. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave to anyone considering any sort of plumbing or drain cleaning services. He is a true professional in all aspects.
