1-866-SLABJACK is your local cement raising expert all around the Puget Sound including Renton, Puyallup Redmond, Mercer Island, Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Olympia and Kent. Our team specializes in concrete raising services for patios, porches, sidewalks, driveways, garages and more. Contact us today for a free estimate and find out more about why slabjacking is a more cost effective and eco friendly alternative to replacing cracked or sunken slabs. Slabjacking pumps a soil-cement slurry or polyurethane material under a sunken slab to "float" it back to original elevation. Slabjacking is a faster, cleaner, and less-costly concrete raising service versus replacement.

"They were able to raise the slab up to close up the crack."

Owner Operator, Owner of company does every job. Leak Detection is a specialized sector of the plumbing industry, and not all companies have the equipment and experience needed to handle detection and repair. We use technologically advanced detection equipment that allows us to locate and repair leaks efficiently. With our state-of-the-art equipment, we’re able to find the problem. We will come out and find your water line leak. We utilize many methods to find the leak. We have highly sensitive ground microphones that can hear the water movement through the pipes and water leaking out of the pipe underground. To verify water leaks that we have found we can use helium gas, as a tracer gas, if necessary. Helium gas is lighter than air and is tasteless, odorless, and non-flammable. It is inert and consequently does not react with water or water system materials. It is commonly used in the medical, food, and sea-diving industries. We pressurize the water line with helium gas and have a detector that works above ground to detect gas leaking out of the water line, rising through the soil. There are times we will also listen with the acoustic equipment for the gas escaping out of the water line where the leak is present. Not only do we use helium gas, we also utilize other types of compressed gases to get the job done. We come to every job prepared to do what it takes to find the leak. Additional address - 501 Roy, Unit R325, Seattle, WA 98109.

"Simon came on time. As soon as he walked up to my front yard. He pointed out a wet spot on my lawn right by the drive way. He used his machine to listen to the ground and determined the leaking spot and marked on the ground. The whole process is less than an hour."

20 employees. $99 service call charge includes first 1/4 hour of actual work. each additional 1/4 hour of labor $55.00. $9.50 each job for small expendable commodities. Financing available for larger un-expected repairs. Additional DBA - Fox Co. Award winning .

"Short version: - Extending a gas line 75ft should not cost $4000. - Fox charges for estimates. - If Fox estimates aren't accurate, they won't adjust in your favor. - Work quality is good. - They will give you an invoice that isn't itemized, making it difficult for the customer to evaluate the service, and using obfuscation to hide the fact that they aren't charging you fairly. I was initially told I would have to pay for an estimate and that the technician would expect to do the job that same day, so I should be ready to commit to the work. I thought that was all a bit aggressive but it was a good foreshadowing of how Fox does business. Pressuring the customer is in the Fox Plumbing DNA. The service providers are also the salespeople, so they are incentivized to take advantage of you. The estimate was shocking, but the technician assured me it was a difficult job, and would probably take 1.5 days. He said if it ended up being less work than expected he would adjust the bill accordingly. The job took half that time but the adjustment never happened. Fox called 30 minutes before the work was actually scheduled to be done to cancel and needed to reschedule. Stuff happens but this was inconvenient and wasted my time. Once they finally got here, the job went well and the servicemen who did the work did a great job. I have no problems with the quality of the work and the guys were pleasant to be around. I want to make that clear. If the pricing was even close to fair Fox would be a great choice. But it's not and they aren't. I do believe that Fox is taking advantage of high demand in Seattle where homeowners are finding it more and more difficult to find quality service providers at a reasonable cost. We have another property and they overcharged us there too. We are idiots for using them again but I couldn't find anyone in the time-frame I needed the work done in. Since then, I've had a chance to get other opinions, and the overwhelming response has been that I was grossly overcharged. It's clear that Fox is pushing the envelope on "let's see how much we can charge" and I can't really fault them for trying. They can run a predatory...I mean..."premium" business if they want to. I am just a fool for overpaying. I'm sure they would say that too. Another observation is that the office staff is really defensive and curt (see initial call requesting an estimate example above) suggesting that they are all getting tired of having to deal with unhappy customers. Read the other reviews and choose Fox at your own risk. The word "premium" isn't in their mission by mistake. Update: after 3 years all the joints they used are heavily corroded and will need to be replaced, so not really that premium after all."

Thank you for taking the time to visit my web site and to learn more about me and my company! I began pounding nails as a teenager in the mid-1980s with my uncle, an accomplished and well-respected builder. Through this experience, I was given the opportunity of working on a vast array of projects from new construction to remodels, from simple jobs to multi-million dollar homes. It was here where my passion and love of the carpentry and construction industry was born. The knowledge and experience I gained from working with my uncle taught me a great deal about the principles of quality craftsmanship and pride of workmanship. It is these same values I carry with me today and it is the foundation on which I have built my company. I formed Mountains West Construction in 2004 out of my desire to utilize my ideas and creativity to build quality products. My greatest joy comes from being able to build something from the ground up and watching it develop before my eyes. My sense of accomplishment comes from seeing true satisfaction on the faces of my clients. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with a variety of different clients from various backgrounds. I have a proven track record of listening to my clients needs and desires, offering solutions and delivering quality results. When I'm on the job, I strive to keep the jobsite neat and clean, and to minimize any impact to my clients as much as possible.

"We needed our deck's boards and stairs replaced. The job got delayed for a while due to COVID but Randy stayed in touch via email the whole time, and it was completely worth the wait. The new deck surface (we got composite to withstand the weather) looks amazing, the stairs + stringers are sturdier than ever, and the gate matches the deck railing perfectly and works so smoothly. The project was done with no issues in the timeframe he gave us and at the estimated cost, and he left the whole area underneath the deck itself cleaner and neater than it had been before he came! We'll probably not be needing work on it for years, but I will definitely be calling again if/when we do!!"

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

Yes, they provide full-service inspections, identifying and resolving any potential equipment problems.

For a fully-foamed hot tub, freezing typically occurs when the temperature drops below 28 degrees Fahrenheit and remains at or below this level continuously for a minimum of 36 hours. If your hot tub and pumps are still operational, however, the water circulates, and this continuous movement helps prevent freezing, even in very cold conditions. This circulation, along with the insulation provided by the foam, helps maintain the water temperature and prevent it from freezing during extended cold periods. Still, if you’re not planning to run it regularly, be sure to winterize the hot tub properly to prevent damage from freezing.

Many people find saltwater tubs worth the upfront expense. They cost less to maintain than traditional hot tubs, so you can save in the long term. Maintenance is also easier, typically involving balancing the pH and cleaning the tub rather than adding chemicals. They’re also gentler on sensitive skin, and you won’t walk away with a strong chlorine odor.

Hot tub heaters typically last seven to 10 years, though some might only last five years if not properly maintained. You can maximize your hot tub heater’s lifespan by ensuring the water’s pH level is properly balanced.

Unfortunately, a hot tub does use a relatively large amount of electricity. In fact, much of the money you spend on your hot tub will go toward electricity costs to keep the water heated. A typical hot tub will use anywhere from 1,500 to 6,000 watts of electricity per month.
