Terrible experience. A complete scam! I wonder how a business in this scale fails to deliver a good job. Many visits by this company at our house. Yet, the problem is not solved. We see spiders, bugs and different types of insects everywhere in the house. We naturally called to cancel the service but they charged us with cancellation fee. It doesn't matter if we have a contract, but when you have failed to deliver the results we intended to have by using your company, you must be so professional to not charge the customer upon cancellation. Not moral at all! If you don't want to waste your money as a customer, try to find another RELIABLE company for the job.

Run from this company. Doesn't fix issues. They refused to return when the issues were not addressed, instructing me to wait (well past their BS 3-day buyer's remorse period. After weeks, they offered to reschedule the next paid service to address the unresolved issue, which constitutes a breach of the contract. When you tell them you want to cancel the service, they threaten you with the hidden cancellation fee that the salesperson never mentioned. There are better companies than EcoShield that actually value customers and follow through on their promises.

Amir and Jose did an excellent job today. I believe they went over and above on their service today. They inspected any areas where pests could enter the home. They also checked my crawlspace for any issues and found none. They offered to inspect my crawlspace with me asking. Excellent service! Thank you!!!!

Dec 4, 2024 - Issac Diaz was very professional and extremely efficient. He arrived promptly and proceeded to do the needful immediately without delay. He was very personable and polite. We highly recommend him. Before he departed, he asked if there was anything else he could do for us outside the normal service. That was really nice of him. Kudos for being an exemplary service provider!

Rose F carried out our quarterly service. I appreciate that she pulled away from the front door, our welcome mat. No previous service tech has done this. Sometimes I have been left wondering if the tech actually did the spray of the perimeter of the house. This time I could see that it was indeed done, and the spray was set done in a wider swath than I've before seen. Thank you. Rose strikes me as being one who is more attuned to detail. Apparently, the notes on record indicate we have two bait boxes. When I drew her attention to the third box, Rose cheerfully refilled it with bait. Rose is a good communicator. I find Ecoshield to be responsive to requests for assistance when issues arise between scheduled services.

As others have suggested, pretty bad. I signed up for with this service where the salesperson said you can cancel anytime (without penalty), after the first two services. After the first two services, I attempted to cancel. Long-story short, they said I had to fullfill the obligations of my contract (wouldn't allow me to cancel), or suggested they can give an additional discount, which I declined. They then cancelled my account and suggested they were going to send the remaining debt to a collection agency. Avoid at all costs as the company is 100% dishonest.

DO NOT HIRE ECOSHIELD PEDT CONTROL! Services promised were not delivered. They arrive late for their service. The only way we know they arrived is through security cameras. Customer service at call center is poor and they are rude. We have not seen any improvement since starting the service. We try to cancel and they say we have a 24 month contract. When asked to provide this contract they cannot. DO NOT HIRE ECOSHIELD PEDT CONTROL!

Overcharged me by hundreds of dollars compared to what the sales person said. Falsely described the service agreement and invoiced more money when I said I wanted to cancel. Do not work with EcoShield, it is a total ripoff and you will regret over-paying for a simple pest control service.

Hidden fees. They will lie to you. And once you try to ask about the billing they will procrastinate so you can pass the 150 day mark and put you in collections. Service was halfway done since day one. Customer service is horrible once they have your card on file. Do not recomend this business unless you want to fall in their trap. Their services made no difference!

This company is absolute garbage. I had a door-to-door salesman show up to my house, he claimed that one of my neighbors had called because of a rat/rodent issue in the neighborhood so they would be offering rat/rodent removal to the whole block at a discounted rate this week. I said sure, better to be proactive and especially if there's a discount. The salesman then signed me up for a monthly or bi-monthly spider/pest spray service. After I realized that I had been lied to I tried to cancel this service and thats where all **** broke loose. The customer service at this company is worse than trying to get Cable TV installed! They didn't cancel my service right away and now they're trying to bill me for an extra service that never happened. They don't seem to have any internal notes because I have had Text, Phone and Email conversations with 20 different people from their company to explain the situation and each time it ends with "OK, sorry for all of the confusion here - I will get rid of this balance due and we will stop reaching out" - And then a day or two later I'll get Calls, Texts and Emails from them - it's getting to the point of harassment now. They lied me into a service to start and are making it impossible to resolve at the end, this is just a company you should not give your hard earned money to

Ecoshield is classic bait and switch sales tactic, full of junk fees and shady customer service reps. The young sales guy who came to my door saying he was treating my neighbors house for carpenter ants sold me on what he presented as 4 visits (once a quarter) for $179 but every time they show up its $179. That's Almost $800/year on BS. $60 a month and all they really do is "dust for cobwebs" and spray some dust in my window cracks, which does not work. At my residence for all of 10 min. each visit. Used them almost one year a NO results. DON'T BE SCAMMED. I recently sold my house and when I tried to cancel the account they sent me all these fees for having to exit the contract early. Then they told me the contract never said it covered carpenter ants. To top it all off, after all the visits they still couldn't fix the problem. I returned from working on the road to see we still had the same ant problem. I moved some firewood away from the house and guess what, they all disappeared. Didn't need Ecoshield for that nor did their "experts" see it or mention it once.

Terrible company! Scams and lies. Paid the money for the initial service which was half done. Called because we had pests and they never showed up after 3 attempts. Tried to cancel and they charge a $240 cancellation fee. They don't hold their end of the deal but charge you to cancel. Never use this company!

They came out a few weeks ago with my husband promising several services. A technician told him another person would come out the next week to seal areas in the crawl space. Apparently, they didn't even check the attic and we still have hornets and wasps. They don't answer their phone or it goes to a national operator that makes appointments for individual locations. I wish we would have read the reviews on Angi's before hiring them. I asked the call center for a local number, but it was just a feeder number that went back to the call center. If anyone has a real phone number, please post it. I feel like calling the DA in King County to see if any complaints have been filed or investigated regarding this company.

I hired Ecoshield when they came door to door stating that the neighbors all used them (The neighbor with whom I'm close to canceled services when he realized they were using his name without his permission). The salesman said he would do a number of services, and when his technician told me he "completed" the job and was ready to go, he admitted that he did not do the granule treatment "he ran out at the last house", and his inside sprayer was broken. He offered to send someone else back, but never did any followup. He also wrote in his report that he did do the granule treatment and interior spray, which was a lie. They completed half of a service and charged me full price. They offered, when I complained to come out and do the proper service, but I cannot condone lying. Their dishonesty and incompetence made me decide to cancel the service and they charged me 200$ for an early cancelation and said that if it was not paid, it would go to collections. This company is a scam, stay far away.

Charles completed an inspection, looking for carpenter ants. He also addressed an issue with sugar ants. His inspection was thorough, even taking the time to pop into our attic space. I appreciate the continued service from Eco Shield and would recommend. Today's service was no charge as I have a quarterly inspection schedule with Eco Shield. Any additional services needed, in between inspections, is free of charge.

Scammers and thieves! Offered attic remediation work for a "mouse infestation" that didnt exist. Almost coaxed me into paying $8k for full service. After calling them when I saw a couple mouse droppings in the basement, I was incredulous there was an infestation. I called another company that came out and inspected and said there was no infestation in the attic. The pictures Ecoshield Pest Solutions showed me may not have even been from my attic. The second company said dark spots in the insulation was dust and dirt, not mouse urine, which Ecoshield said it was. After calling the company to complain about the scam and wanting to cancel my service with them, they said they would have to charge over $200 to cancel, since I got "discounts" on my previous services (which by the way, according to the hundreds of reviews out there about this company, happens to everyone). I had to talk to 5 managers and got the run around. NEVER AGAIN!

The technician was extremely helpful and made thoughtful suggestions for addressing the concerns we have about rodent control on our property. So refreshing to work with a company that focuses on what they CAN do to help rather than what they can't do. Highly recommend!

James is a wonderful tech. He listened to my concerns and addressed them all. He could see all the bait stations I had for the ants and the activity that is ongoing. I'm hoping that with the spray and the bait stations I have placed outside that the ants will soon die off. I also mentioned my recent encounter of a large spider that had found its way into the house, and he sprayed all places that ants and spiders might enter. I was very impressed with James's professionalism and listening to me about my concerns. Thank you James, I appreciate all that you do.

Craig did a great job for us today! He was right on time, very friendly & professional. Craig is also very knowledgeable and clearly explained how to handle the pests. Thank you so much to Lito! He was the most thorough tech we've had, he even moved our heavy patio furniture away from the house to get behind it to make sure it was sprayed (nobody has done that before and it was much appreciated). He took his time to ensure all areas of importance were inspected.

EcoShield operates an unethical business. We were assured by the salesman who initiated our contract that he would allow us a 6-MONTH trial period. Apparently the digital version of the contract he signed with us and promised to send us has mysteriously disappeared. We were also assured, both in person and over the phone, that EcoShield’s services included rodent control – including squirrels in the attic – which was the whole reason we agreed to contract for their services. Turns out they do not or would not deal with rodents or squirrels. We have contacted them to discuss this, and they refuse to address our concerns, simply telling us we are under contract. Every other month they send a service tech to spray God-knows-what around our house for insect control, and that's it. Each visit they charge us $162.75 for the few minutes they spend walking around with their spray wand. We are stuck paying exorbitant prices to an opportunistic and unscrupulous business for a "service" that we don't need or want. I don’t like writing negative reviews, but the fraudulent nature of their operating model needs to be exposed, and I certainly would have liked to have this information before making the decision to use them.

We usually have been getting decent service taking care of ants around our home, detached shop and shed. We pay for regular quarterly service. Today, I happened to be home and talked with the technician and he said he was just going to be spraying around our house. I had to remind him that the technician(s) usually go around our home, detached shop, and shed. He started and was back in his vehicle in 15 minutes. It seems to me the service has changed a bit with less attention to detail, because last quarter the traps in the crawl space were checked and there was no mention of checking those on this quarterly trip.

We always get great service from Ecoshield, but today Scott was extra great! He was super thorough today and got all of our problem spots and took time to clean around difficult spots that had spider web build up. Bonus points because he was super friendly and he pet my dogs. He's welcome back any time!
