Simon came on time. As soon as he walked up to my front yard. He pointed out a wet spot on my lawn right by the drive way. He used his machine to listen to the ground and determined the leaking spot and marked on the ground. The whole process is less than an hour.

Because Simon uses a boring tool and because they were so careful with the excess dirt while there was a hole in the ground, the disruption of the landscape was minimal. I am very impressed with the professionalism of the entire operation and highly recommend this outfit

The leak was unfortunately under the driveway. Simon and Kevin were very friendly, courteous and professional. They did exactly what was contracted for, in a timely manner, and things were back to normal. I'd recommend Clearwater to anyone.

Simon was awesome. We had a leak in the main water line that he was able to find and fix for us in a really quick time. Leak detection to completion was 3 days. I was impressed with his professionalism and ability to talk to me so I could understand the problem and solutions. He is one of the very few that does the whole job. Most other providers told me to hire a leak detection outfit and then they would send their plumber out to fix.

Simon Calis, the owner & operator, was very professional and courteous. The first part of the process was to find the leak, it took him a couple of hours to pinpoint the break. Once he identified my leak, he walked me through my options--whether to try and repair the broken section of pipe, or replace the line. I opted to replace my line. A formal proposal was sent to me a couple of days later, I signed off, and he was able to schedule me in a week later. The line replacement itself took about 6 hours. Pretty straight-forward as my supply pipe was only about a 20 foot run underneath grass and a flower bed--no concrete or tree roots to deal with. Yard was pretty much in the same shape after the work--minimal disturbance as his method does not require digging a full ditch. My approximate cost of service includes the fee to locate the leak, and the price to replace the pipe. I would definitely give Simon and his company Clearwater Leak Detection an A+!

I was so impressed by Simon's service that I felt compelled to write a review - this is the first time I've ever written a review for a provider.
I noticed a leak from our irrigation system this morning and called a few places. Given that today is New Years, I didn't have much hope of being able to talk to anyone. Not only did Simon promptly return my call, he walked we through how to turn the water off on the system myself so that I might be able to save money (hugely appreciated!). I tried unsuccessfully, and asked if he could come out tomorrow to take a look. He mentioned that he might be able to stop by later in the day if I would be home. Long story short, Simon came out that afternoon, promptly located the problem and was even able to fix the leak that same visit. All for a very reasonable price, especially on New Years!  Can't thank him enough, and will certainly recommend him to my friends and neighbors.  Super knowledgeable and professional - thx again Simon!

I needed an emergency water leak detection work done as water was gushing somewhere unknown and water meter was jumping up like crazy (I got a bill for $370, and the water company told me if it's going at the current rate, my next bill will be over $600).  Simon, the owner of Clear Water did not want to take the work at first as his schedule was already full, but when he found out how much water bill I was paying since the leakage started, he agreed to help me out on a Sunday morning! He showed up on a Sunday at 9 am in his full uniform and all the equipment. He found & marked the location of the leakage for me and then even helped me shut down my main water valve.  Very polite and easy-going person.

Great. Suggested he could fix leak, which was probably caused by landscapers installing sprinklers a few months ago, but might be higher cost than someone else. I appreciate that!

I cannot express how appreciative of Simon Calis of Clear Water.  I received a bill for $295 from my water district.  Shocked, I called Langley Leak Detection since they worked on my water main last year.  Bill was gracious but said he couldn't make it out until next week.  He assured me that he would take care of it.  I am an impatient person and the fact that water was being wasted as we spoke, I checked Angie's list for another local plumber.  I found Clear Water and called Simon at 7:00 am Thursday.  I explained what I needed and he suggested that I have my prior plumber fix it.  I explained why I couldn't wait 4 or 5 days.  Simon asked who did the work last year and I told him, Bill Langley.  This is where it gets really interesting.  Simon said that he and Bill have worked together for over 10 years.  He said Bill was a great guy and I totally agreed with him.  He assured me that Bill would make good on his repair.  Again, I agreed.  I had absolutely no argument with Bill--just the timing.  Simon agreed to come over and check it out.  He said he'd be here about 9:00 am.  At 9:05 he arrived and apologized for being late.  In the meantime, I get a call from Bill Langley.  He said he talked to Simon and instructed him to fix the problem and send HIM the bill.  There would be no charge to me!!  I am still in wonderment!  I am 69 years old and have never seen such a display of integrity and honesty.(from both Bill and Simon).  Simon obviously called Bill and the two made sure I was taken care of that day.

An hour and a half later my leak was repaired.  Simon took a video of the repair to send to Bill.  He showed me the video and WOW  it was a gusher!!  Men like Bill and Simon don't come along often and I was Blessed to have both of them in my life.  DO NOT HESITATE in hiring Simon for any of your plumbing needs.  He will exceed your expectations.

He was knowledgable, helpful, and extremely professional. The fix ended up being simple but he was very gracious at answering the plumbing questions of this first time home buyer.

On first visit, Simon was able to identify location of the leak rather quickly.  I hired him again to make the repair few days later.   He dug-up the soil, found the break on the pipe, made the repair, confirmed no further leak on waterline pipe by checking water register, put the soil back, cleaned-up job site. Excellent job.  Appreciated his professionalism, positive attitude, keeping me informed of what's going-on.  He was expeditious, skilled and thorough.  Couldn't have asked for a better contractor.  Would use his services again & would highly recommend him.

Everything went very well. Simon is very skilled, knowledgeable and professional.  He found the leak within a few hours.  We have a long driveway from the street to our house and he was able to detect the leak under a big rock that was 5ft underground.  He had to order a part and came back the following week. He had to dig a deep hole to get to the leak and repair it. He did an excellent job. We highly recommend him.

Simon was wonderful.    He came out the same day, found a water leak buried under concrete.   I don't know how he does it, but he found our leak right on the mark. 

He was professional, on time, and extremely accurate.    I would use Simon again and again if needed and definitely recommend him.  

Simon is the owner of the company. He arrived on time and focused on getting the work done. He located the leak quickly and without delay. He knows his stuff and was very professional. Don't waste your time with other llocal companies that stand around and talk about why they have to charge this and that. I  recommend this guy without hesitiation!

Simon was great.  Spent the time on the phone providing details of his service, etc.  There are a lot of people out there that do leak detection and Simon was great.  He pinpointed the leak and was spot on with the location.  I appreciated his patience and he provided great service.  I would definitely use him again in the future.

Simon was very responsive when I called.  He was able to get to my house that day.  He brought all sorts of equipment in order to locate the leak.  He explained everything he was doing and how he determined where the leak was.  He initially told me it would take about 2 hours and that was exactly what it took. 

I would highly recommend Simon to anyone who has a leak.

Had to hand dig a 4 foot square by 4 foot deep hole to gain access to water line then removed damaged section and replaced with a new one. Back filled he hole and was done. Estimated 4 hours for the repair was done in 3.

Simon knows what he is doing.  He is very knowledgeable about residential water systems.  He identified the leak under 4" of concrete and 2 feet of dirt.  It could have been anywhere in a 30' concrete driveway.  He suggested that there was a probability that it was at a connection where the fittings had failed.  He was RIGHT in location and diagnosis.   We discussed whether repair or replacement of the water line was warranted.  He showed us 200 PSI lines with tracer lines and compression fittings would give us safety and peace of mind if we stayed in our home for the long haul.  Simon is either Superman with X-ray vision to find a leak in concrete or the best in his leak detection business.  Either way, he's my hero!
