"After I met Stuart, the owner of Summit painting, I knew I wanted to hire him for my painting needs. He was very professional, knowledgeable, competent in his line of work and just a really likeable guy. I was very comfortable with him and knew it would be a good fit. We discussed the scope of work which included painting and staining of a brand new stair case (along with interior walls) and he understood my expectations. I received a very clear bid from him that outlined in detail what the job included and any potential additional charges, which I appreciated. When painting day came....I couldnt have been any happier. His guys were amazing. They were on time, extremely professional, friendly, clean and tidy, efficient and amazing painters. They all worked so well together. I just have to say I was amazed at how much care they took to cover and protect all of my furniture. I just hand my kitchen remodeled and they were meticulous in their care. I am in love with the paint job and I am so glad that I trusted my gut and went with Summit painting. I plan to have them back to to paint my upstairs bedrooms soon. You will not be dissapointed. I'm thrilled."

"After meeting with Dennis, one of the owners, I hired Legacy to repaint the exterior of my home in Lynnwood. He and Mark, the other owner, were great to work with and did a great job of communicating throughout the process which included a slight delay due to paint shortages because of the pandemic which is understandable. Mark even gave me recommendations on color and paint type to ensure I was getting the proper finish and color that I was looking for. For the actual project, Henry was the lead and power washed the house about a week prior to starting on the painting. Henry was great... punctual, efficient and did quality work. All told, it took about 2 full days for a crew of 2 to prep and paint our house and we're thrilled with the results. Henry was also a very good sport about my OCD in finding spots that needed to be touched up and did it all with a great attitude and smile on his face. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Legacy and highly recommend their services!"

"At first I thought the job was going pretty well. The guys were professional and seemed pretty good. Unfortunately at the tail end of our job, the weather started turning. Mornings were cool and wet, and this was the time that our porch handrails and bannisters were done. Within three months they started peeling. So the next summer I asked Clinton to come back out and fix them as part of the warranty work. He agreed to do so, but never fit me in. The second winter we got significant peeling (50+ linear feet). I emailed Clinton in the spring again asking him to come out. He again agreed, but never fit me in. This spring (year 3) I asked him to come fix them as well as bid on additional work. He set up an appt with me and never showed. He did email later apologizing and saying he had been in an accident. I said I understood, but unfortunately I never heard from him again. I finally gave up and decided to sand and repaint my handrails myself. It's a shame because I would have loved to have him come paint my interior soon, but I can't trust him to honor his work. I feel I have been amply patient and given him multiple chances to correct this. Unfortunately I can't in good conscience recommend him because of this."
