"Nicholaus was great! So professional, punctual, always kept me in the loop while I was at work. It started with him just painting the fascia, but he noticed that my window frames needed peeled and repainted as well. He asked if I wanted that done too and I said absolutely! He went around my house and took off all the storm windows, peeled and sanded, and repainted them. He went to above and beyond what I had expected. He even power washed my entire house and washed my windows for no extra charge, removed my gutters and washed and replaced them better than they were before. It was about a 4 day job. "We called for an estimate and an appointment was made.  He did not arrive, so we called him after an hour.  He apologized and came right over.  Bob was a very personable fellow and seemed to really know what he was talking about and to fully understand the project.  We looked forward to receiving his estimate.  It did not arrive.  He emailed to say it would arrive the following week.  We never heard from him again.  We hired someone else.

"We weren't that happy with the results. It was a few years ago, and the surface is still pretty much intact. He had to use a primer and deck paint, rather than stain, and the primer showed through in several places as bright white marks against the dark brown stain. He left the extra paint so we could refinish where we wanted. We don't want or expect any follow up at this time. I understand that the deck needed a lot more work than the worker expected. So, my experience may not be a fair representation of this particular contractor.

"Not to well. I had made my down payment in Feb. I heard nothing from them until I called them in April to see what was going on. They finally scheduled me. Then had to cancel because of the rain, which I could understand, but they were not good about staying in touch. I had to stay in touch with them and find out what was going on. I was told that they never had to "hold someone's hand" as much as they did mine. Maybe that was true, but I don't know. I do want to know what is going on and when. It was a huge project for me and I wanted to make sure that it got done as promised. The crew were great people, but did not pick up after themselves until I said something to the person in charge. After that they did clean up after themselves. They covered up my door bell connection and said that they would be back to fix it. That was in August and it still has not been corrected. The paint job looks great from the distance, but close up you can see the flaws. I was supposed to put blue tape in the areas that needed to be addressed. Unfortunately there are areas that I did not see at the time, but that is my fault for not catching the areas that needed attention."
