OR LICENSE: #CCB100757. WA LICENSE: #FXREPRR911MA. CAPS- Certified Aging In Place Specialist. ADDITIONAL EMAIL: [email protected]. ADDITIONAL PH#'S: (503) 297-8682 & (503) 542-4440. ADDITIONAL FAX#: (503) 297-8682. Emergency # 503-292-0292 We are General Contractor who has inhouse full services from handyman to remodeling....with special skills in waterproofing, structural repair, and common sense and right versus wrong methods of business.

"Bob quoted “20-30 days” on a contract that is now on day 644 and counting, and so far $67,000 over budget. Considers work and materials that other contractors, and most reasonable people, would consider part of the original bid to be “change orders” (such as removing drywall before putting up HVAC ducts, or putting up drywall after putting up HVAC ducts, or painting after putting up drywall, or cutting concrete that they could have seen was there when doing the several site visits to put the estimate, bid, and subsequent contract in....) Constantly forgets previous discussions, agreements, and communications. Adds work that was never discussed or asked for while contracted work is months or even years behind schedule, all while asking for more and more money the few times he does show up on site - if you see Bob, he’s going to try and talk to you for hours about Trump or his ex-wife, and he’s going to ask for more “change orders” and thousands more dollars every time. Incredibly unprofessional work, incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful communications. Bob constantly tries to blame broken ageeements, shoddy work, and incompetent mismanagement on clients and his own workers. Gaslighting, mansplaining, condescending, no personal responsibility or business ethics. We have seen belittle his own workers and even smack one upside the head. Makes excuses for shoddy or behind schedule work by telling clients that he has hired homeless people, meth users, potheads, etc., gossips extremely personal information about the personal lives and health conditions of workers he hires, his own ex-wife and current girlfriend and her friends, etc., then accuses clients of having an “attitude” when issues with work or his unprofessionalism are brought to his attention. We made a HUGE mistake by not reading online reviews before hiring. Avoid Bob and FX Repair and Remodeling at all costs!"

Hurricane Shutters questions, answered by experts

When hiring a hurricane shutter repair professional in WA, look for someone with experience handling repairs in the region’s wet climate. Ask about their familiarity with local home designs and materials that resist moisture damage. Request references from other area homeowners, and confirm they offer emergency service after storms. It’s also smart to discuss warranty options and how they handle repairs during Longview’s frequent rainy periods.

Helpful?

In Longview, schedule immediate hurricane shutter repairs if you notice loose panels, visible water leaks, or any damage that could compromise your home’s security during a storm. These issues can worsen quickly in the area’s wet climate. Minor cosmetic concerns, like chipped paint or squeaky hinges, can usually wait for drier weather. Always prioritize repairs before the rainy season or after any significant wind event to keep your home protected.

Helpful?

To keep hurricane shutter repair safe for kids and pets in Longview, plan repairs when little ones are out of the house or occupied in another room. Set up sturdy barriers or temporary fencing around the work zone, especially if you’re working near patios or play areas. Store sharp tools and fasteners in locked containers, and use low-odor, non-toxic products to minimize indoor air concerns during the often damp Longview weather.

Helpful?

As a new homeowner in Longview, start by checking for swollen or warped shutters, which are common after heavy rain. Inspect all mounting hardware for rust or corrosion, and test each shutter to ensure it opens and closes smoothly. Address any signs of water intrusion around windows, and reseal joints with weather-resistant caulk. Prioritize repairs that strengthen your home’s protection before the next Pacific Northwest storm season.

Helpful?

In Longview, homes with steep driveways, mature landscaping, or older construction can present unique challenges for hurricane shutter repair. Watch for custom window sizes, uneven frames, or evidence of settling, which may require specialized solutions. Limited access due to overgrown shrubs or narrow side yards can also slow progress. If you notice these factors, plan for extra preparation and possibly additional equipment to ensure safe, effective repairs.
