Budget Blinds

Went like a charm. Leanne Wheatley spent a fair amount of time helping us decide on style, color, etc. Bought honeycomb blinds for all 6 windows. Delivery time was well within estimate, and the installation was completed neatly, efficiently, and more quickly than we thought possible. It is not a criticism of Leanne nor of Budget Blinds, but I'm not sure that the honeycomb blinds are better than mini (slatted) blinds in every case. Note that Budget Blinds is a franchise, so this review may not be entirely applicable to franchises other than the one in NE Portland. We'd definitely hire then again.

Great! Everything from the original estimate/quote (which the owner did himself), to communications (frequent and informative) to install (fast and professional) went well. We love our new blinds and are very satisfied.

Jennifer came out on several occasions and when the shutters and blinds were ready to be installed, her installer came out and installed them quickly AND cleaned up after himself.  I ended up replacing the window coverings on all of my windows (including the garage because they were so affordable).  After I got mine done, my neighbor also had Budget Blinds do her place.  I have recently recommended Jennifer to a client who just purchased a new home.  You won't beat the price and service.

It went very well. Her installation guy Chris was most professional and ethical. He did a great job installing the blinds and everything went off without a hitch.

They came and took off the existing blinds and put new blinds up. They were very good and the young man who came knew what he was doing.

Not only was Jennifer very punctual but extremely helpful as well.  When I scheduled the appointment for an estimate I had a vague idea of what I wanted on the living/dining windows but wasn't sure how to communicate what I had in mind.  Jennifer worked with me on all the options that would meet my needs and we came up with the perfect solution.  She definitely takes the time to make sure you are a 100% satisfied customer.  The order was placed and all the window treatments arrived within the time frame she indicated. The installer arrived on time and had all of the window treatments up in a very short period of time.  All of them look great!  Unfortunately, two of the roller shades did not retract all the way up and Jennifer came out to see what she could do to fix that.  The end result was that those 2 shades will be replaced at no cost to me.  I am very pleased with all the choices and especially Jennifer who was very helpful and seemed in tune to what I wanted as my window treatments.  I would definitely recommend her to anyone who has a need for new or replacement window treatments.

Did a great job even though the there was no replacement part.  They made an adjustment at the catch area where the cord was wearing.

I'd avoided doing anything with window covering for the first year we lived here because I really didn't want to spend the money and I wasn't sure which windows we really needed them on.  I had Jodie measure several windows (every window in the house that wasn't covered) knowing that we wouldn't order everything right way, just focus on our priority areas and then she would have all of our measurements and know what we wanted when we were ready to add more.  I think I did a really good job of confusing Jodie because when my order showed up and Craig came to install, things weren't quite right.  Craig and I quckly realized that the roman shades were for a room that I wasn't ready to order for yet.  (the rest of the order was great!!).  Craig called Jodie and when she realized what had happened, she got the correct ones on order right away and offered to make me a smoking deal on the others.  Jodie was very professional, I ended up with more blinds than I intended, but they look perfect in I couldn't be HAPPIER.    I will definetly use Jodie again and have already referred her several times.

Jodie was recommened by a friend.  We set up an appointment for her to provide me with an estimate and give me some ideas for window coverings for my home.  She arrived on time for our appointment.  I had already made up my mind regarding types of coverings for some of the windows (honey comb shades) due to a need for providing privacy yet light.  She had great practical suggestions for other windows that fit in my budget.   Roman shades were selected for another set of windows and she returned the next day with samples for that project that were exactly what I had envisioned.
The blinds were ordered and arrived on the expected arrivial date.  She was able to accomodate a time around my work schedule for the installation which was included in the price.  Everything fits beautifully and works well.
It was a pleasant experience all around.

Jodie (owner of this franchise--there is more than one in the area) came and measured quickly, then asked questions to see what we wanted to accomplish. We had a firm idea of using honeycomb shades and she showed us those first, then suggested we look at other options that might be more in keeping with the style of the house. Her suggestions were right on -- the look was better, the care easier and the price lower! She was not only NOT hard sell, she was able to help is avoid overspending. We ended up with wooden shades on the windows -- all of which are large -- and lovely verticals on the sliders. The days of ugly vinyl shades (especially verticals) are over. We got some with a "rice paper" finish that look absolutely great. We could not be happier.

Jodie was very helpful in assisting with my choices for window treatments. She brought lots of samples and had some great suggestions for my lifestyle and price range. She measured all the windows and four weeks later they were installed. The man who installed them was incredibly fast, professional and neat - he picked up every piece of scrap he dropped.
