"If I could give this company a 0 I would. They treated my yard with what they said was pet safe products and within 12 hours of treatment 1 of of dogs got very sick. Then every 4 days each of my 5 dogs got very sick costing thousands in vet bills. The only changes in our household was them treating our property. I called right away and told them I didn't want to have them come out again. Then 2 months later they call and said that they are going to charge me canceling without notice which I told them I didn't want them to come out again. He was threatening me on the phone. Trying to force me to say "yes" to treating my property. Then said to prove it was his product that made my dogs ill. They don't do toxicology on dogs that I know of and 2 months later! Now they want me to pay them for a service I don't want or received. DON"T USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS!"

Pointe Pest Control is the premiere pest control agency in Oregon, Eastern Washington, and Northern Idaho. Why? We believe in providing excellent service to every customer. Our owner, Jacob Borg, has been in the pest control industry since 1996. While going to college, Jacob worked for 9 different companies in 4 different states. While working, he learned what worked, what didn’t, and how to properly treat his customers to ensure that they are pleased with every aspect of their service. When asked what makes Pointe Pest Control stand above the competition, Jacob said, “I am committed to providing a higher level of service as compared with some of the larger national companies. I enjoy every aspect of the business; treating homes, problem-solving with business owners, & doing my best to provide a solid working environment for employees that look forward to coming to work and doing their job.”

"This company did not honor their satisfaction guarantee. They treated for rodents. Guarantee a year work. Now they are saying they have to come out and will give us a free estimate but I will have to pay again for service."

"We use Doug regularly to fertilize our trees and shrubs, and to keep pests like lace bug and root weevils under control. He is knowledgeable, punctual, professional, and responds quickly to address any problems that crop up. He even saved our maple tree from verticillium wilt and gave it a good pruning. We highly recommend him."

"He is amazingly fast and goes out of his way to fix right the first time. We are always surprised at his work and the quality workmanship. He is careful with the bill and never overcharges, he is very fair! Thank you Tusk, we are grateful to have suck help, you are the reason we can keep our RV and make it last many more years."

We are a Mobile RV repair and installation service. Our shop rate is $100 service call and $150 an hour. That sure beats a $500 towing charge or unhooking everything to drive your rig to a far away shop so you can get on the calendar to repair your rig.

When home and business owners in the Vancouver area need professional, high-quality pest control solutions, they know to turn to the experts from Natura Pest Control. Since opening in 2013, they have developed a longstanding reputation for getting the job done right, including delivering ongoing treatment plans that get rid of pests and keep them away for good. Their customer service has been widely regarded as unmatched, and they even offer experience unlike any other with two Associate Certified Entomologists on staff. Their commitment to the environment means always using eco-friendly products and protecting that which matters most, including an ongoing effort to help save the bees.

"Do NOT sign up for their membership--or trust them to do even an adequate job. We hired them to deal with rat problems, with a supposedly inclusive service. What we got was a guy who would come over every few months to add poison to bait stations--something anyone can do. No remediation, no willingness to investigate the issue. Even after being hired and paid hundreds, they refused to come into the house (much less the crawlspace) to investigate the issues we were having. When we asked for repairs on a screen rats had chewed through, they initially tried to charge us more money for a service we had already paid for, only relenting when we escalated the issue. Then they added a single patch held in place by two screws drilled into concrete--which the rats immediately brushed past and through again. When we hired a real pest company, they fixed our crawlspace, permanently, on the second visit. Do not hire Natura. Their management and phone team are nice, but the technicians are bad at the jobs they bother to do. You're better off putting out your own bait traps, or hiring a real company instead of them. They have wasted our time and money. It is possible that Natura are okay at dealing with bugs (some other reviewers seem to think so), and rats are just outside of their abilities. That would be fine, if they didn't claim they could deal with rats and etc. too. Natura management, if you read this: shame on you. You did a bad job, you run a misleading business, and you ripped us off. Shame on you. Any time anyone I know brings up pest control in the future, I will go out my way to make sure they know what a bad job this company did, and how much money and time we wasted."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

While keeping any critter away permanently isn’t always possible, you can keep mice away from your home by setting traps, fumigating your space, and sealing known entry points. Once you’ve taken these steps, take time to work on prevention measures, such as clearing out all clutter and recyclables and removing all food sources.

It is very difficult to remove a colony entirely without using some kind of insecticide. However, some treatments are safer than others. Diatomaceous earth is a non-toxic powder application that creates barriers that insects can’t pass through. Some pest control companies offer liquid nitrogen treatments to freeze out termites without using pesticides. Some chemical treatments are safer to use around plants, water, and wildlife than others. Bait stations are generally less damaging to the environment than sprayed termiticides.

They can have a deterrent effect on birds to some extent. The reflective surfaces of these objects, such as aluminum foil strips, CDs, or reflective tape, create flashes of light and movement that can startle or confuse birds temporarily. However, some birds can become accustomed to these visual disturbances over time and might adapt their behavior accordingly. For a more sustained solution, combining shiny objects with other deterrent methods shared here is often beneficial for creating a more comprehensive and effective strategy for bird control.

Sure, they are icky to behold, but are silverfish bad? In terms of illness or injury to humans, the answer is no because they don’t bite or carry disease. However, they can damage household items, including books, wallpaper, certain foods, and clothing, as they love to feed on starchy materials and adhesives. What’s more, their presence often indicates high humidity or moisture issues in the home, which can lead to further pest problems.

Earwigs may look scary with their pincers, but they don’t pose a serious threat. They don’t sting, and bites are rare. They might pinch if handled roughly, but it's more of a nuisance than a danger. They’re not known to transmit disease, but you should still alert a pest control pro if you have a large infestation inside your home.
