We used Bartlett’s in 2017 and had a great experience. They were professional, responsive, and did a great job. In spring of 2020, we contacted them to trim some trees and take one out. Someone came out and we had a great discussion, and he said someone would call us in the fall. No one did. By the time we got someone on the phone, they couldn’t come until New Year’s Eve. When they did come out, they did the tree trim but took out the wrong tree- the one they took was an established rhododendron, instead of the scrub tree that clearly needed to go. They couldn’t do the stump removal because they hadn’t brought the right equipment. That meant another visit, and even then things were done wrong. It’s now been over a year since our original request, and the work STILL isn’t done. We’ve called at least 20 times, and although the receptionist is friendly and kind, no one ever calls back. I understand that 2020 was a mess, and we’ve been more than understanding. Not only will I not ever use them again, I will warn everyone I know against them. Find someone who might return a phone call.

They provide service Vancouver area even though the website doesn't seem to explicitly indicate it. Easy to get an appointment to have Jason to come out and review the requested work. He asked great questions, answered all my questions to my satisfaction and we discussed various options to clean up our jungle. He provided a detailed estimate the same day through email. I was able to review the contract, terms and conditions, then sign and return all through email. Jason fit me into the schedule the following week. A two man crew, one was Jason, arrived within the expected timeframe and completed the work quickly and efficiently. Jason had me review the work upon completion. Happy to see some space and sun getting into our shady areas. Great clean up afterwards and very considerate of our complex landscaping.

Bartlett did a professional and neat job. Cleaned up everything and left it in great condition. We will have them come back each year to maintain. Reasonable rates. We are very pleased with the quality of their work.

On the price, I didn't do any comparisons, so I can't say. I don't have any way to compare. They know what they're doing. I can't give an opinion if I would use them again. I'll probably call him. They did good quality work.

Phil Wich, arborist, was recommended by my landscape designer. He came to my place to give me advice on dealing with phytophthora, a root disease some of my plants (but not my trees) have. He is incredibly knowledgeable about plant and soil diseases. He also gave me an estimate to prune the trees. He explained the many ways in which pruning would benefit the health of my trees. I asked him a lot of questions. He is so very knowledgeable about trees as well.
I told him I wanted him to do the work so he emailed me the contract. I signed it and we arranged to have the work done today. The workers did a wonderful job. I am especially impressed that they were very careful not to hurt my flowers and shrubs. The serviceberries are surrounded by delicate tulips and crocus which have just begun to emerge, and they managed to prune the trees without crushing any of them! Then they cleaned up so thoroughly, they left my yard neater than they found it! They even removed a large amount of yard debris that I had let accumulate in the street along my property.

They are excellent. I've worked with them over the years. They don't climb with spikes on their boots, they swing with ropes so they don't damage the trees. They will prune rather than cut the trees down. They were very responsive and very careful when they were doing things. They were very concerned about the neighbors. I have humongous big firs and that's when they come in with ropes. This time they used spikes because they were cutting down the trees. The managers and the people that actually come out to do the work are excellent. They carefully explain what they are going to do and how much it will cost. I get a really nice written bid ahead of time. They follow up to see if I am happy. The quality was very good.

It was only 45 minutes to have the treatment completed. Just one employee took care of it. They are very professional and honest. You can expect good advice and service. I liked just about everything they did for me.

It was a short visit and a great experience all around. We have moved into a new home with a beautiful cedar tree that was losing branches and we would hate for it to die. I called Collier Arbor Care and the person in the office was very pleasant. (I appreciate that cost of a consultation for diagnosis is posted upfront.) Logan Collier happened to be in my neighborhood on another job and was able to meet with us that day and identify the tree and the problem. The tree would continue to drop some branches, but it would live. I was relieved to hear this and it was great to see that Logan was truly interested in the health of our tree. He let us know what steps we could take to correct the situation and was candid about the chances for success. There was no pressure to upsell which was refreshing. In the end we opted to let nature take its course with a bit of help from their special blend of fertilizer and mycorrhizae. We opted to have them treat 2 other trees while they were at it (we have poor soil). I highly recommend Collier Arbor Care.

They did all the work within 5 hours. They provided immaculate cleanup. They were courteous and extremely helpful . Got all dead branches out of tree without damaging any vegetation below. I have been a long time customer of Collier, and I am very happy with the new change.

I just much preferred this company over the other ones that came to visit. When they did the pruning they took their time and were very careful and the tree looks great! They seemed like they actually cared about my tree.
