This was not a simple repair; this was a complete failure of installation, service, and professional conduct that dragged on for nearly three months and deeply disrupted our lives. ?We purchased a new construction home where Home Comfort Alliance installed the Mitsubishi heat pump system. Within the first year after moving in, we discovered a major fault?the unit was incorrectly installed, leading to water streaming through our second-floor ceiling and pouring out of the light fixtures and into our kitchen. ?Despite the fact that our brand-new home and the HVAC unit were fully covered under warranty, resolving this issue was like pulling teeth. "My elderly mother is partially blind and disabled. On November 1, 2021 her washing machine broke leaking water in her home. In desperation she called rotor rooter. Roto rooter came out, stopped the leak, and put dryers in and left. They returned a few days later to remove the dryers. The technician quoted my mother a cost of about $3000.00. My mother signed a contract but could not see what she was signing. After Roto rooter Reno removed the dryers they sent a bill to my mother for $9000.00. The contract she signed stated Roto rooter would remove walls, roofing, insulation, baseboard, tile etc. Roto rooter didn’t do any of those things. Roto rooter is price gauging and took advantage of an elderly disabled woman. Roto rooter technicians were in the home no more than 3 hours total. First my mother did not have capacity to enter into a contract as she couldn’t see what she was signing. 2 Roto rooters technicians told her the cost would be about $3000.00. 3 Roto rooter did not do the work in the contract. I believe Roto rooter is commuting elder abuse and fraud."
