He has 26 years of experience and was very knowledgeable and skilled at using the camera. I've been doing remodeling for 30 years including plumbing installation (drain pipes, copper water pipe repair and installation). In addition to using the electronic locator, he also went old school in using witching sticks to confirm the location of the pipes."

"We were in a jam. We are attempting to buy our first home. We had our inspection scheduled and on the morning of, we learned of a potential plumbing issue. There was a report filed with the city stating that a couple of years ago there was some kind of sewer back up. This house is old, so I wanted to make sure we weren't signing up for any potential problems. I called around to local plumbers in the area. NONE of them were able to accommodate our need on this shortened time frame. I got Zach's number from a contractor friend of mine and in a last ditch effort gave him a call. Unlike some of the other plumbers I'd spoken with, Zach validated my concerns and informed me that he would recommend that I have my system inspected. He was very patient with my partner and I, making room for us that evening to show up in exemplary fashion. He did a full inspection of our sewer lines with a camera and explained to us what the different piping meant. He then tested our water pressure and advised us to request that the seller offer concessions to cover the cost of putting in a pressure reduction valve. He explained the reasoning behind his recommendations and took time to insure that we understood why he was recommending these services. He also took the time to explain and answer questions about potential upgrades as my partner wants to upgrade the hot water tank. He outlined different product options and explained with great knowledge and detail the differences between the products. I would highly recommend this company. If we get the home we will definitely be having this company come back and preform the necessary work that is needed for our new home."

"Mad Pipers did an excellent job on the work! Zack provided the original estimate. He was responsive, punctual, answered all my questions and provided a very thorough estimate of the work we needed done in a timely manner. I took estimates from other companies but Mad Pipers was by far the the most responsive and for the large amount of work we needed done, they were also the best pricing. The job was completed by Zack and Ragen who showed up on time and were very professional. The work itself was a two day job. They made sure to explain everything that was completed. I was very happy with the work they did and as a result asked them back to provide an estimate for some additional (smaller scale) work I needed done on a guest bathroom (replacing old galvanized steel pipes with new copper pipes) and a master bathroom (replacing a popup & drain which was done by Curtis). "Mill Creek residential home with Alderwood Waste Water service (not septic), built in 2000. Clog in waste/sewer line indicated by over-flow at the clean-out outlet. We had a drain line issue with a blockage a couple years ago and selected Apollo Plumbing due to their positive customer service reviews on Angie’s List and other on-line sites. Our experience was great, though we learned that 16 years earlier, our builder incorrectly piped a driveway catch basin line. (The builder remedied that issue even after 16 years!) So last week, we saw some overflow at our clean-out outlet. Fortunately, it’s at the driveway by that catch basin outside the home, so when it shows signs of overflow it warns us that something isn’t right before we see back up in the house. I thought maybe the overflow was due to the freezing temperatures around Christmas, but when I saw a second overflow in so many weeks, I knew it was time to call in the professionals. You know how it feels when your car makes noise and you’re hesitant to take it to the mechanic? The stress that they won’t find anything wrong and you wasted your time and money to have it checked? The fear they will overcharge you for something you don’t need? Well, I didn’t feel that way about calling Apollo Plumbing. I was confident that if the problem was in my head or a non-issue, it would only cost a reasonable amount and I would get an honest evaluation of the situation. While not an emergency, they worked us in to get Corey W. on site the same day. The partial blockage was located, but some heavier duty equipment would be needed. They were back the next day with what they needed, right on schedule, and cleared it all out. I appreciated that Corey explained the entire process and what he saw, and that he showed me everything on the video monitor when they scoped the line. When he was done, we looked at the entire sewer line to the street and the pipe interior walls were clean as new. No one likes having to call a plumber, but when a job is clearly beyond a DIY’er, I’ll call Apollo Plumbing."

"They helped fix an emergency sewage backup issue, but the external clean-out point should have been placed at the back-end corner of the house rather than the front. This placement missed access to the back-end area, which could be necessary if a liner installation is needed later. That said, hindsight is 20/20. They did a reasonable job based on their proposal, but at the time, we didn?t have enough knowledge to request a better plan. One issue I encountered was their tendency to revise estimates upward during the project, which I did not appreciate. Additionally, they were uncertain whether the sewage and storm drainage systems in my area were separate or connected. Compared to other providers I worked with later, this suggested a relative lack of experience or knowledge. Another concern was witnessing one of the workers urinating in the hole they had dug during the process. I found this unacceptable and feel it?s worth noting.
