The service technician performed a very thorough vacuum cleaning of the hot and cold air return duct system in our home. They use a large, truck mounted vacuum system connected to the furnace ductwork, and then a compressed air with a device to scour the inside of the ductwork pushing any dust and debris back to the vacuum connection on the furnace. He also removed the blower fan from the furnace, cleaning it and the heat exchange coils inside the furnace. This job took approximately 3 hours to complete for our 3000 sq. ft. home, and I am very satisfied that the heating system has been thoroughly cleaned. I am also impressed with the knowledge and professional manner of the technician.

They were very good.  Scheduling difficulties (from my end) and they were excellent at trying to work with constraints.  Showed up on time and did a very good job.  Very pleased and will use them again.

Excellent service, cost less then was actually lower then bid, due to actual work performed not as extensive as they had budgeted for.  Would recommend them highly.

Technician was supposed to be at house at 8 am. I called at 8:30 to see if technician was lost. Was told I would get a call back when they figured out what was going on. I did get a call back that the technician was running late and should be here around 10. He did show up a bit after 10. What was supposed to be a 4 hour job turned into a 6 hour job. When the technician was finished he gave me the total cost so I could pay. The amount was half of what I was quoted for the job so I questioned him and asked him to check. He looked at his tablet and stated the price he told me was correct. I asked him to verify once again. He stated again the price he told me. So,I wrote the check. The next day I received a call from a gentlemen stating the check I wrote was for too little and the technician had made a mistake - the quoted price was the correct amount. I was overly understanding and said I would send a check for the difference. However, when I started my dryer Thursday night it just shut off. I have been struggling with finishing my laundry all weekend as the dryer just keeps shutting off. I do not know what the technician did but my dryer certainly isn't working. So, three strikes, you're out. I was being very generous by not being irritated by the lateness, the extremely long period of time the service took and then the incorrect amount their person had me pay. Now that my dryer is not working, I am very unhappy. I will be calling them on Monday to insist they pay for someone to come check my dryer.

They were very professional and left our home clean and put everything back in working order. Very pleased with their professionalism, timeliness and work. Will definitely use them again. Price is a bit high but with Howie's you definitely get what you pay for.

Howie's did a great job. The office staff was knowledgeable and helpful on the phone. Easily and quickly scheduled the service.
Day of the service, they showed up on-time, answered all my questions/concerns, explained each step as they did it, were thorough, and left the ducts much cleaner. The air quality improved and the air filters are staying much cleaner. There was a layer of grime from 50 years of oil-burning furnace throughout the ductwork and they were able to remove it. 
They are far from the cheapest duct cleaning service, but you get what you pay for. We had our ducts cleaned by our furnace installer 3 years ago, but the equipment was not powerful enough to truly clean the ducts. Howie's truck-based vacuums and air whip resulted in much cleaner ducts that we won't have to clean again for a long time.
In addition, the technician realized that the estimate over-counted my dual-sided registers and the end price was quite a bit lower than the estimate.
Highly recommended.

Technician (Zach) arrived on time and went right to work. Was very careful about maintaining cleanliness throughout the 3+ hour process. He was pleasant and professional, answered my questions, and did a very thorough job. Now my heating system runs quietly, and the airflow is much improved.  This is a local, family-owned company...I like dealing with folks from the community.

Everything was excellent.  The tech that came out and did the work was professional, clean, thorough.  The scheduler I spoke with understood the business of air duct cleaning and was very professional and informative and tried to offer me the best deal she could.  You get what you pay for here!   I highly recommend this company to anyone.

1. Technician was on time, very clean and helpful with all my questions. Equipment was all in good working order and they are equipped to handle all sizes of homes. Ours is a three story and there were no problems reaching all the vents. We have an out door dryer vent access but he got right to it with no problem. I have heard and read all the horror stories about most of these companies so I would definitely recommend Howie's. They put these stories to rest. They are a little pricy but you get what you pay for and don't be misled with the so-called low advertised prices by some of the other companies. Just read their reviews, and then read Howie's. They are an "A" rated company!

My overall experience was excellent.  I will be calling this company again next year.  The gentleman who came was very personable and obviously knew what he was doing. .  I feel like everything got a good cleaning out.  I was impressed the way he took special care with my wood floors, etc.

We noticed a small amount of water in the crawl space under our house the week before Christmas, when we pulled the Christmas decorations out from under the house.  We had another company check it out, but didn't seem like a big deal.  However when I got home from work that evening, our dampness had turned into flood waters in the crawlspace to between 18" and 24" high.  It was now late in the day, and it turns out the excessive rain was not just an issue for us--the whole area was having problems.  When another vendor we called was booked solid and unable to make it out that evening, they recommended Howie's to us.  The truck showed up about 9pm (right about when they said it would), and they got to work.  They pumped water with a heavy duty pump out of our crawlspace into the storm drain, then they filled their tanker truck with more water from the space.  They worked at it until after 11pm, when the space was finally dry.  The team was friendly, hardworking and calm under the pressure that we were feeling and putting on them to get it cleaned up.  We had to call them back the next day when we couldn't get a sump pump in fast enough (groundwater was still coming in) and that team was also prompt, hardworking and friendly.  The billing was accurate and as quoted.  Overall it was a great experience with a vendor, in the midst of a very horrible home experience (that was, fortunately, not as bad as it could have been if Howie's had not come out and gotten rid of all that water!)

I had some difficulty with scheduling, had a day set aside and no one showed up. However, in the end it didn't matter. In the end, they were exceedingly clean, did a thorough job of cleaning all of the heater vents, and left my home cleaner than when they arrived. They have portable tools, so are accessible to high rises. When we turned the heat on this winter ( a rare occasion), there was no smell from the heater!

Technician, Keith Martin was very professional, courteous and especially accomodating for all of our particular requests.

He was respectful of our property at all times.
He was introduced to all of three of our small dogs and was patient in allowing them to become comfortable with his presence. Tails were wagging. 
I will use this service provider again.
I would reccomend this service provider to family and friends.
