"We had a wonderful experience having our new units installed by Sunset Air. Our initial contact Jessie was great to work with. The installation team of Ian, Jason, and Michael, and the Electricians Tristan and Justin were all very professional and did a great job. Jessie made several trips to our home, confirming our system as the team at Sunset Air put together a plan and identified what system would best suit our needs. The team was able to troubleshoot our old 1970 furnace and heat pump system. The system was a unique installation in an outside furnace room with a lot of the plumbing running under the home. Removal was quick. The new installation required some custom-designed Ductwork and some changes to the electrical system to ensure proper installation. The installation team was always on time, and when they left, you would never have known they were there; they took everything with them daily. Once the system was complete, we received a comprehensive run-through of the entire system and tips for maintaining the overall system. We were kept informed all the way through the process. Ian and Michael went the extra mile at the end and noticed the UV Units were not working correctly because our custom system wasn’t providing enough pressure to turn the units on. They spent the time troubleshooting and custom fabricating a workaround on the fly, adjusting to ensure the system was working. We had our County Inspection the next day, and the County inspector was impressed and had great things to say about the installation. We hesitated for years to replace the furnaces because with an old farmhouse, everything turns into a “CUSTOM” Job and typically is full of heartache and pain with cost overruns and the “What We thought was.” Not with these guys. They came in, did a fantastic job, and finished not just on time, which has never happened at our home. They Finished Early !! Thank you to the whole team at Sunset Air. "Our family has used Dana's for years but we recently had a really negative experience. Last winter, we hired them to perform a routine service of our heat pump. Their technician informed us that our system was failing (said it was leaking and that we needed to buy a new system; then sent out their salesperson who provided us with bids of $20K+ to replace). Before making such a big purchase, we decided to get a second opinion from another company that came out, tested the system, and informed us that it was running perfectly. Recently, I went into our crawlspace to change the air filter and discovered that the Dana's technician didn't replace our filter when he was here. He had stowed the new filter on the ground next to our system and left the old one in place (really!?). I called and emailed the company asking to speak with the owner or a leader about my concerns. They never got back to me. This week, months after this visit, our system is still working great - even during a record-setting heat wave. It may have been just one bad technician, but I'd proceed with caution if you are thinking of working with this company."

"The whole process was not pleasant. We went with Arrow because of the good reviews, but the insulation process was anything but easy. We have an older home that had nailed in dry wall. We decided to have the installation done through the home exterior in order to minimize clean up (we had a 3 month old at the time that we didnt want exposed to the dust/insulation particles). When the insulation was being blown in, many of our dry wall nails began to pop through the dry wall. We were never made aware of any of the potential problems with blowing in insulation through the home exterior, and this process created far more work than we were expecting. As for the exterior of our home, we were left with many siding boards damaged (which thankfully Arrow decided to pay for). Some of our siding could not get removed, and holes were instead cut into our siding. When these were initially patched, they looked awesome, but after only 1.5-2 months, the patch work began to show cracks, and now every hole that was created is visible from the street (some of the plugs have even been able to be moved around with very little pressure). This process has been a nightmare, and our home exterior, after almost 3 months, still is not what it was before the work was done."

"Our original date for work to be done was rescheduled by Mr. Electric for two weeks later. Once the two electricians arrived, we were very pleased with the work they did. They were efficient and did everything we needed doing and more. They were courteous and took the time to explain what they were doing. They left the folders of info for each item. They wore booties over their shoes and cleaned up very well. We were very pleased and would hire them again."
